The nominal GDP gap widened between USA and China is mostly due to shift in exchange rate in the past 2 years, the high US interest rate pushed up the USD against every major currency.
Singapore, as a small country, should be proud to be a mediator between China and the United States. Otherwise, Singapore would be difficult for other countries in the world to pay attention to.
I think, The West made a great success in the past, due to their policies such as Colonialism, the idea of liberalism , economic capitalism and the power of military and controlling in resources. There was also a key reason that made the West even greater because of many other countries believed all these western ideas. However, all these policies can only success within certain time and surely failure in the later. And the failure is not relate to any countries.
For all humanity to come together to make human earth a better place for you and for me and the entire human race. ❤️
