I got emotional because We Ride was supposed to be their last song before they disband. Then miraculous Reverse Run happened. Now they can put out the sequel to the We Ride. Having that information in my head while listening to this song got me so emotional.
Yes Yuna and Yujeong alr moved out of their dorms before Rollin webt viral...reminds me of Bangtan's I Need U which was supposed to be their last song before disbanding
PD: “I’m curious as to whether or not if anybody else listened to this and also got a little emotional” Me: Instantly crying after the first 20 seconds of the song slapped me in the feels
Chi mat ba ram feels like laughing from happiness. After we ride feels like crying from happiness. Both are equally beautiful! Brave Girls is becoming one of my favorite groups out there. I can't wait to see what they come up with next :)
This music video is like in an alternative world if Brave Girls actually disband before the blow up, so each member is alone and not really in same scene all together. Remember the interview Yuna mention that she will work as barista (in MV there is a coffee cup beside Yuna), Eunji will be opening fashion store (in MV she looks at her phone and sink into desperate, and start to keep drinking. It suggests that maybe she got fired.), Yujeong said about working part time before (in MV she was working in fast food restaurant, but she got frustrated from time to time), and Minyoung said about keep asking her members held up a bit longer and she mentions about her parents against her dream (in MV she was playing instrument, was acting sober, and dancing around 7 mannequins [former Brave Girls members]). I am sorry I prefer their ending better than the ending you suggest. The ending you suggest is kind of cliche, and it is seen in many other music videos. "Shut up" by Unnies had the ending scene that you suggest. "You are Brave" is like saying to themselves about "thank you for being brave" and thank you for not giving up".
Given that "We Ride" was like they dreaming their success and the empy car at the end, that sounds actually right. But with Eunji I saw her more like the store was doing not so well. And just because I like to rant. The more I see of Eunji the more I am convinced she should open that clothes store as soon as she can and become a fashion icon next to a singer too. She is looking more and more like I would expect of a high fashion model. I want to see what she would do if she had a BP budget for her style.
this song really hit me where i didn't expect. the emotions it spurs, the nostalgia of imo the elite era of pop music which was 2006-2014 and the vocals, the lyrics, the melody and the fucking instrumentalm especially after that first hit. beautiful song from one of the most heartwarming stories in kpop history
I discovered this song when I was drunk as hell, which is very fitting lol. I managed to add it to my playlist which means drunk me still has good taste.
I actually feel leaving each member separate till the end was a really good choice. To me this song is about personal growth, or the journey of each of their own struggles, so getting together in the end after having been alone through all the other parts of the video would feel disconnected to the whole theme. They each got hurt but they each were brave and outgrew the pain and matured. I like this concept more than the “we dont need boys, we got each other!” idea. Admitting to their weakness, drawbacks and vulnerability is much more appealing to me than the overused “overconfident” concept going on in kpop right now, especially for girl groups….
Yes, I think this is the right way to look at it. The lyrics emphasize the vulnerability you experience when trying to overcome a failed relationship (or really anything that could not bear the weight of your hopes and expectations), wanting to go back to that place of security even tho you know it won't work -- but the music adds a definite feeling of triumph to the nostalgic sound -- and the visuals tie it all together, showing how different people might experience grief, and finally the different sorts of freedom they obtain. While your friends can help, you are the only one who can do the inner struggle and the ultimate resolution. It's all brilliantly coherent, and by the way completely consistent with the theme of "We Ride" -- which was about trying to hang onto a relationship (or other emotional/psychological reliance) that has gone barren and lifeless. Great work by the girls and everyone else involved here!
I think all Brave Girls fans connected to this song in a really deep level. Like you said, it's like a victory lap. Let's hope they keep going for a long time. I wanna see more from them.
After We Ride is my SOTY. It’s so beautifully nostalgic and morose without being what’s expected of a sad song. Perfect summer ended and crying in the club at 3am anthem.
This makes me sad. I am a blink and i always think BP are going to perform STAY as their last song in their last concert amd that makes me emotional. I am a huge fan of Brave girls since earlier this year and your comment also made me sad.
this song is hands down one of THE best kpop releases of 2021 for me. the emotional lyrics, the sheer nostalgia and melancholy the song evokes along with the stunning visuals that the MV has really wowed me. brave brother and brave girls really outdid themselves with this comeback. what a masterpiece
Tbh this comeback title was a genius, from the MV, to the concept, aesthetics, vocals, the song itself, absolutely love it. It has the classic Gen2 sound that I miss so much, a pity they're not performing on music shows.
Absolutely obsessed with After 'We Ride'. There is an amazing drive and nostalgic sentimentality that just keeps me listening to the song :) Loved your reaction :)
I KINDA TEARED UP WHEN THIS WAS RELEASED. IT JUST HAD THAT NOSTALGIA AND EMOTION I GUESS THAT MADE ME TEARED UP. IMO, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS THIS YEAR
I loved this comeback! This song showed me a new side of Brave Girls that I didn’t know before as a new fan. Love the nostalgic vibe this song gives off!
This song Is like the perfect mix of nostalgia and emotion It perfectly embodies the last days of summer / start of fall and conveys so much emotion in the way its produced, the lyrics, and even the vocal decisions. Its a 11/10 song And my current soty
This song is one of the best things I've heard in my 13 years as a K-pop fan. Finito. Also, I was crying by the end of the song, but then Yujeong wrote "You are brave" facing the inside of the car, so she could see that message later, and I felt that. That's the road for overcoming bad habits. And that's the message that makes it clear they'll be ok. No need for big reunions, or crowded parties. They need to overcome on their own before asking for each other's help. A beautiful message. And many can relate to it (well, I can, anyway).
This song is so refreshing and familiar at the same time, I love it! I also just discovered their label mates, DKB, their newest song All In is really good and it has a sound that I feel most boy groups in k-pop aren't doing anymore. I think Brave Ent. is doing great things and I'm glad that Brave Girls blew up, they totally deserve it!!!!!!
Maybe their age/maturity has something to do with how they interpreted the song. There is so much "hugot" (it is a Filipino word which means to pull out), they are literally pulling out emotions here! And I'm also a sucker for city pop synth music. And I agree with PD about the climax part of the video, and even tho it is a sad bop, it gives a light of hope at the end. They still stand up for empowerment with Yujeong writing "You are brave" and I REALLY LOVE IT! So needless to say, I love this and We Ride hahaha! *^.^* So do we get a telco or cellphone endorsement now? :))
If this song was Filipino/Tagalog. We would hear this song for almost a year. Hugot songs topping the Filipino charts. I think it's almost 3-4 years when Hugot songs dominated the OPM
My thoughts on this song are too complex to write out. I’m also Yuna biased. “We Ride” is my second favorite song of 2020. I like “Chi mat …” and “Rolling” as very very fun songs, but it’s these soulful city pop / older style pop songs from them that I love. “Fever” from the Summer Queen ep is top notch. But this song is phenomenal. Their voices. I love them. I am sad we don’t have GFRIEND any more, but having Brave Girls still around and stronger than ever (almost) makes up for it. And remembering Yuna starting out the year asking fans if they would visit her if she ended up working in a coffee shop, to seeing and hearing her and everybody pop off like this… it’s a damn powerful song.
Sad we won't get to taste Yuna's handmade coffee but I think this is the best for her . And she and the girls deserve this more than anything . ❤️💜 Maybe when Yuna retire after long time she can open a coffee shop I'll go meet her then 😭 and ask for a cup of good old coffee and have a chill conversation along with her 😭💜🍀💜❤️❤️
“Fever” is a really good song that got overlooked. The MV BG made for “Pool Party” should have been the MV for “Fever”. “Fever” is a summer night at the club. Full on ‘70s disco but better with Yujeong’s rap. No rap lines back then. I wish for more funky bass and guitar, and fewer random synth sounds, but these are trivial suggestions.
I was patiently waiting for PD to react to After We Ride considering how big of a Brave Girls supporter he is, even before they went viral, PD always believed in them. This song just hits you right in the feels 10 seconds in. PD was understandably emotional.
After the Rollin' comeback and Chi Mat Ba Ram's success, Brave Brothers never disappoint. He promised to create quality songs for them and Brave Girls deliver it so good! No, GREAT! Now this may be the reason why you can't let go of the late 2nd gen and early 3rd gen talents.
I would have bet my payroll that you would say "10 out of 10" just with the 80's intro knowing your taste 😄 And you're right about it, this song is awesome, as a long brave girls fan, I'm so glad they can continue to show their talent. Brave Bro has thrown his whole wallet on this MV, it's almost perfect and it's such a perfect follow up to chi mat ba ram
brave girls really served us a bright, colourful and cheery summer anthem AND a nostalgic, emotional and chill summer bop all in one summer? we stan versatile queens! also: this, to me, feels like the girl relishing in her memories of the boy and their relationship and finally, having the strength and bravery to finally let go and start anew i think that's the celebratory part of it, the bittersweet of it) , y'know? and it fits them bc this is just the very beginning of their new start, their new chapter as korea's new summer queens
i agree with you. Sometimes you just know a song is gonna be awesome in the 1st 5 seconds. The music just capture you and basically grab your ears. When I heard the music while watching the mv teaser, i was like "WOW"..... Goosebumps!!!!! The 80's synth beat and the sad lyrics.... wow.
Yesss this is up. Thank you for explaining the title, it was lost on me. I agree, this song feels very genuine. I get goosebumps during the intro for this song and the emotional vocals hit really hard. I also love that this song acknowledges how hard things have been. Chi Mat Ba Ram was a fantastic celebration, but this song sort of...validates the suffering. I think you said it beat...it sounds like a sigh of relief.
I agree with you, this can't be compared to Deepened. Both great songs, but different styles. PD, I'm glad someone else appreciates just how gorgeous Yuna's shots were.
PD, thanks so much for pointing out what good singers they are (also in your Chi Mat Ba Ram and We Ride commentaries, which I watched immediately after this one!). I had dimly become aware that their vocal style is different and completely unique, but your comments allowed me to appreciate this fully consciously and celebrate it in my own heart. When you are listening to Brave Girls you know it can ONLY be Brave Girls, because no one else does that big, brassy, pleasantly strident sound, which Minyoung and Eunji in particular throw down so powerfully. This sound can carry tons of emotional freight and just as much joy. Rollin' might be the perfect example -- for me and probably many others, it is the quintessential KPop song. I have so far not been able to develop a final bias in Brave Girls -- they all do amazing things to me visually, emotionally, or vocally (in Eunji's case, all three!). However, gotta say Yuna might be the most subtle and fascinating performer I have ever seen. Is it possible to be plain and beautiful at the same time? For me Yuna somehow pulls that off. She's "plain" enough to seem approachable (partly because she's not your typical rail-thin female idol, KPop needs lots more like her imho), yet beautiful enough that you are seriously drawn to her. And I find her amazingly understated, like to a totally insane degree for an idol -- not because she's shy and diffident (see Dreamcatcher's wonderful anti-idol Handong, may she stay true to herself), but because she seems above it all, softly chuckling at the world behind that calmly bemused exterior. She doesn't try to reach out and grab you -- she knows this is unnecessary, because YOU will come to HER first. Would be interested to know if you see something similar.
I only got into Kpop really in 2020 and forward, never got to hear about We Ride (didn't watch music shows live yet), but honestly after them going viral I became such a huge fan. Chi Mat Ba Ram was the amazing party song we needed in 2021 and this is just such a masterpiece created by Brave Brothers. Brave Girls earned everything they are receiving now and more!
I accidentally watch after we ride MV when my 4yo daughter asked me to watch somi dumbdumb(well, my little girl love princess and barbie, lol). The autoplay is on, and after we ride is the next song. And I instantly looked up after hearing the first few seconds into the song. To be honest, I'm kind of done with kpop, maybe because I'm older. But after hearing this song and and of course youtube search. I fall in love again. Yes this song is really good
Yeaaah. I just remembered before rollin got viral. I joined yuna IG live, and there was like only 20-30 viewers. But look at her now. Im so happy for her
The video is great. Loving every moment. Showcase their beauty. Love the way they film. Like in the moment. The feeling the emotion they gives is top notch
I'm a Filipino and without looking at the subtitle, I can feel the nostalgia of being in loved with my long time crush. Like, how myself was drowned by him and with this song, everything reminded me of how I am really frustrated to communicate with him haha. I really love the package of the song as well as the other songs of Brave Girls. Thank you creator for your content about them, you deserve a follow and subscribe sir
When you were talking about how it's bittersweet but leaning more towards sweet and how the song is a sad bop but kind of celebratory, I got that feeling too. The quote that popped into my head was "don't be sad it's over, be happy that it happened." and I feel like that's kind of where this song is emotionally. Like I got a little teary eyed listening to the vocals and reading the lyrics, but there was also a feeling of acceptance and almost catharsis if that makes sense. Sort of like Day 6's "You Were Beautiful" - sad song about breaking up and the end of a relationship and the love and hope of what could be, and yet an acknowledgement that through the process we were changed in a beautiful way and that we could not become who were meant to be without experiencing that love and the pain that love can bring.
I’ve been waiting for DAYS for this reaction and it was so worth it. PD your love for Brave Girls is so pure and exciting and I knew you’d love this. ❤️❤️
FINALLY thank you for reacting to them. I've been waiting for your reaction since it first came out. You have singlehandedly gotten me into them since your "We Ride" reaction!
Told you PD. :D I didn't want to raise your expectations too high, but I'm glad you like it as much as I thought you would. Deepened and After We Ride, now they have two entries in the best Kpop songs of all time.
Director Matt Osborne, who made music videos for artists such as Bebe Rexha, Lil Nas X, and Dua Lipa, participated in After We Ride MV's post-production.
The owner of this channel(PD) also has a small stake in Brave Girls movie like miracle story. kinda.. key supporting actor of some sort? He commented twice on the 'we ride' MV and surprisingly predicted their success just b4 the Brave Girls blew up this spring. lol the cmnt PD left : 'Bro this song hits differently 6 months and chart topping and a music show win later' although it wasnt the 'we ride' that he strongly appealed to... a miracle happened with the their compilation vid (edit n posted by VIDITOR) of the 'rollin'/a song they released 4 yrs ago and performed in over 100 military bases for 4 yrs. Ah! and now! 6 months later he predicted, we r listening to their new song 'After we ride'
PD was so at a lost for words he started stumbling. Draw jopping... lol 🤣 Man, I really hope they win a MAMA Award this year, 2021 is Brave Girls' year, they accomplished so much. I really hope more Fans jump on their bandwagon, they really were a hidden gem all this time.
coming back to this on the 1 year anniversary if its release and I still feel the same way as you did a year ago about this song. for the arts and not the charts
Thanks for your reaction, PD. Have been waiting for your reaction since the first day it's release coz i know you will be like it a lot. Not gonna lie, for me you are the best reactor for brave girl mv because you include many things in the reaction that resonance with my feeling too about them, music, or mv. Nice Job PD!!
The song spoke to me on a very personal level, like a past I really tried hard to veil has been uncovered. And I remembered, casually having my dinner and randomly scrolling, getting excited after seeing a new release from Brave Girls, and then crying for the entire night, leaving my food untouched.
Really enjoyed your reaction. I appreciate the depth of thought you have put into it. There’s a lot going on, musically, lyrically, and visually in the two songs and MVs for “We Ride” and “After We Ride”. It is helpful to understand the lyrics of both songs, and the two songs should probably be reacted to in the same video since they are so closely linked. “We Ride” is a song about a relationship that has stagnated, and the couple are bored with each other. “After We Ride” is a song after the breakup from the girl’s point of view, and if you study the lyrics, she is not handling it well. (No! Don’t call, especially when you’re drunk!) Visually, the “After We Ride” MV seems to tell a slightly different story. To me, it shows how the girl is messed up at first, and maybe drinking a little too much, but in the end is over it and is moving on. Musically, these two songs are really interesting. “We Ride” is in a style that is now called City Pop, but it is really more like a style of the late ‘70s similar to “Smooth Jazz” which I call “Country Club Jazz.” Think jazz for upper-middle class white guys. Yes, that sounds awful, but it works for “We Ride”. The strings and rhythm section in the intro is a classic “Country Club Jazz” sound. Musically, “After We Ride” is a style that is definitely early ‘80s pop; the drum sound and the chime-like synth is SO early ‘80s. So musically, “We Ride” is written in a style that comes before “After We Ride”. I’m a music producer/engineer, and I am OLD so I am familiar with these styles first hand. I kinda wish BG had a song about the early relationship when the relationship was new and fun and exciting. That song could be written in an early ‘70s style, upbeat and maybe a little bit bubble gum pop. Perhaps “Help Me” would work. It could be a Relationship Song Trilogy.
been waiting for your reaction 😁 thank you pd 👏 i mean your reaction in the first few minutes says it all 😎 cheers to more 💎 from them 🙂 brave girls fighting!
YES YES YES!!! I've been waiting for this reaction! This song is automatically in my top 3 for the year. It's just so genuine, and SO. FREAKIN. AMAZING!
I had the same initial reaction as you!!! IMMEDIATE 10/10 The a capella hit, and I was like OMG ----- bUT thEN the INSTRUMENTAL CAME IN WITH THEIR VOICES AND TOOK IT TO THE STRATOSPHERE, just chills!!, instant hit for me, so replayable, so much feels, very drive the night road trip ending credits feels
I love this song to death and I don't even think it's as good as most of the older BG songs. Even despite not being my favourite of their songs, it's still easily one of my favourite songs of the year. When your entire discography sits in the top 1% of all k-pop, even the less favoured songs are unbelievably good. I'm constantly overjoyed seeing Brave Girls succeed and I'm super glad I got to witness the whole ride with them. I hope they continue to enjoy success and happiness for a long time.
As soon as this dropped, I was looking forward to your reaction PD! I just knew you’d love it from the first 15 seconds and I guess I was sorta right lol. This is by far their best shot MV and one of my fave songs of the year, along with Chi Mat Ba Ram! Also a sucker for 80s synth and city pop and this song DELIVERED! I mean of course it did this is Bravesound we’re talking about, but this song is everything I ever needed from them. It’s a sad bop and their vocals really shine in it! I can’t get enough of Eunji’s part right before the 2nd chorus! It’s def up there with Deepened but that alternate ending you suggested would have had me ugly crying! Watching Brave Girls rise out of the nugudom has been one of the most joyous yet bittersweet experiences I’ve ever had as a Kpop fan and I pray they continue to get even bigger with even more success ❤️🙏
Dude. This song hit me on spots I didn't expect they would. It's oozing with emotions I just can't get enough of it? I also feel veryyyy nostalgic when I listen to this song. And is it just me but this song also reminds me of Hitorijanai/Not Alone by SEVENTEEN.
First of all, I really thank to PD for reaction of BG's After We Ride MV. Thanks millions again PD. Finally, my wish has been already fulfilled. Honestly, every single moment that I listen this song has goose-bump. So, this song is incredibly perfect. This song is pretty pretty good. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
To reflect my feelings towards songs I just listened to, I usually let my imagination run wild, interpreting the melodies with abstract imagery and colors in my head and the feelings they gave to me. Whenever the song gets to the chorus, I am always overwhelmed by positive emotion and the feeling of freedom.
bro you need to make a playlist of like YOUR fav songs cause we definetly have the same taste and i just discovered this in janurary of 2022! love all your videos man!
I really cried while listening and watching the music video and idk why? Maybe because I was heartbroken the time that this song was released. I listen to this casually every day and cry my heart out and repeat it every day, I'm really thankful that the reverse happened or else we wouldn't have this song.
i remember watching the mv for the first time and feeling something like… a lingering feeling that i cannot point it out and also sort of nostalgic… the song definitely hits a spot even though there were no subtitles! it’s incredible
I got emotional because We Ride was supposed to be their last song before they disband. Then miraculous Reverse Run happened. Now they can put out the sequel to the We Ride. Having that information in my head while listening to this song got me so emotional.
Now everything makes sense , ty. I had a strong feeling like this song was a goodbye song
That's all I can think about when I hear this song :( I'm like a proud mom
It's actually their last song if the reversal never happened
Yes Yuna and Yujeong alr moved out of their dorms before Rollin webt viral...reminds me of Bangtan's I Need U which was supposed to be their last song before disbanding
PD: “I’m curious as to whether or not if anybody else listened to this and also got a little emotional”
Me: Instantly crying after the first 20 seconds of the song slapped me in the feels
SAME
IKR SAME
i was SOBBING
Literally noticed that I was teary eyed once the song ended. I was like "What the actual fuck!?" when I noticed it running halfway down my cheek lol.
VERY THIS!
Chi mat ba ram feels like laughing from happiness. After we ride feels like crying from happiness. Both are equally beautiful! Brave Girls is becoming one of my favorite groups out there. I can't wait to see what they come up with next :)
Wow this is so true.
I agree, I think your description is my favourite
omg, this is true
true. aside from blackpink, brave girls is now my favorite rn 😭
I feel like this comeback really puts the spotlight on Brave Girls and what they’re capable of. Love it so much. Thanks for the review PD!
This music video is like in an alternative world if Brave Girls actually disband before the blow up, so each member is alone and not really in same scene all together. YESSSS!!! 😆
With this one,
Brave Girls didn't just make a great K-Pop song.
*They crafted a PERFECT POP SONG.*
Kpop kids never know your points . They didn't make just kpop song , they actually did make POP in Kpop industry .
I actually feel leaving each member separate till the end was a really good choice. In a 4th gen world, we get a banger straight out of the 2nd gen.....can we call this a kpop retro hit?
Technically they're 3rd gen since the current members debuted when the 3rd gen groups debuted
im taking after we ride as a sequel to we ride. this song really feels like a letting go song.
I think all Brave Girls fans connected to this song in a really deep level. Like you said, it's like a victory lap. Let's hope they keep going for a long time. I wanna see more from them.
I'm not even one and I STILL connected.
From Brave Girls casual listener to a BIG YUNA BIAS because of that one shot. I was mesmerized both by the shot and Yuna herself. 😍
Welcome, then. BG are awesome. That shot is so underappreciated, most reactors focus only on the wig discarding moment.
After We Ride is my SOTY. It’s so beautifully nostalgic and morose without being what’s expected of a sad song. Perfect summer ended and crying in the club at 3am anthem.
Agree, Brave Girls best MV to date! And the song is top notch!
Continue watch the video a lot! 30m soon
Imagine this is the last song they'll perform in their concert while fearless singing along 😭
This makes me sad. I am a blink and i always think BP are going to perform STAY as their last song in their last concert amd that makes me emotional. I am a huge fan of Brave girls since earlier this year and your comment also made me sad.

I loved this comeback! This song showed me a new side of Brave Girls that I didn’t know before as a new fan. Love the nostalgic vibe this song gives off!
Summery nostalgic songs are just incredible and basically make me want to cry.
After We Ride, Our Summer, etc. are perfect examples of it.
This song
Is like the perfect mix of nostalgia and emotion

I definitely see myself playing this late at night while driving, love it so much !!
Legit City Pop vibe

14:51 "Just draw jopping" HAHA I felt that...
Their music videos keep getting better every single time.
I teared up watching this even though it didn’t have subtitles. So powerful.

If kpop hugot was a genre this would be on the top of the list
If this song was Filipino/Tagalog. We would hear this song for almost a year. Hugot songs topping the Filipino charts. I think it's almost 3-4 years when Hugot songs dominated the OPM
PD... Did you notice 5 cars 4 has their lights turned on and the last one was not i think its a nod to Hayun... because Hayun was there for Rollin...
Thanks for pointing that out
My thoughts on this song are too complex to write out.
Maybe when Yuna retire after long time she can open a coffee shop I'll go meet her then 😭 and ask for a cup of good old coffee and have a chill conversation along with her 😭💜🍀💜❤️❤️
“Fever” is a really good song that got overlooked.
Man, I miss GFRIEND too. But I'm so glad to have found this song from Brave Girls - it's amazing in so many ways. Just hits right in the feels.
I was patiently waiting for PD to react to After We Ride considering how big of a Brave Girls supporter he is, even before they went viral, PD always believed in them. This song just hits you right in the feels 10 seconds in. PD was understandably emotional.
14:56 THANK YOU. I'm obsessed with that shot. It's absolutely gorgeous.
i always get chills whenever i listen to this song, literally their best song for me 😭
After the Rollin' comeback and Chi Mat Ba Ram's success, Brave Brothers never disappoint. He promised to create quality songs for them and Brave Girls deliver it so good! No, GREAT! Now this may be the reason why you can't let go of the late 2nd gen and early 3rd gen talents.
Deepened is one of the best kpop songs on the planet. And then We're going to have to add After We Ride
YES
I would have bet my payroll that you would say "10 out of 10" just with the 80's intro knowing your taste 😄 And you're right about it, this song is awesome, as a long brave girls fan, I'm so glad they can continue to show their talent. Brave Bro has thrown his whole wallet on this MV, it's almost perfect and it's such a perfect follow up to chi mat ba ram
This has been brave girls year, so proud of them.
brave girls really served us a bright, colourful and cheery summer anthem AND a nostalgic, emotional and chill summer bop all in one summer? we stan versatile queens! also: this, to me, feels like the girl relishing in her memories of the boy and their relationship and finally, having the strength and bravery to finally let go and start anew i think that's the celebratory part of it, the bittersweet of it) , y'know? and it fits them bc this is just the very beginning of their new start, their new chapter as korea's new summer queens
and they finally have the budget too 😭 those shots were incredible like from a movie
I have the feels that this is "City Pop" genre 😩 it's so good, on repeat!
i agree with you.
Well said
This really is one of the best song of 2021!!
YESSSSSSSSS BEEN WAITING ON THIS FOR DAYS IF YOU KNOW WHAT I'M FEELING
metoo!!!!!!
Yes this song is really good
술버릇 리뷰 기다리고 있었습니다.
감사합니다~ 쁘야호~♡
i have been yuna biased for years and that one shot of her also really stuck with me. such a great song and video. makes me choke up everytime.
I really really love After We Ride. This song was like cry and enjoy at the same time. It's nostalgic but fills you with hope.
I was literally crying when I first listened to this song! our girls never disappoint!
I’m a bit late and uncultured about Brave Girls, but damn that song just struck something inside of me 🤍🤍🤍🤍
I’ve been waiting for DAYS for this reaction and it was so worth it. PD your love for Brave Girls is so pure and exciting and I knew you’d love this. ❤️❤️
FINALLY thank you for reacting to them. I've been waiting for your reaction since it first came out. You have singlehandedly gotten me into them since your "We Ride" reaction!
YES!!.. I was waiting for your reaction towards BG "AFTER WE RIDE" #FEARLESS
The fact that you say that about Deepened! Respect !
Told you PD. :D I didn't want to raise your expectations too high, but I'm glad you like it as much as I thought you would.
Deepened and After We Ride, now they have two entries in the best Kpop songs of all time.
All support them continue listening and watching the video a lot!! 30M soon!!
I was the challenger PD mentioned at 5:17. Am glad I got them to do this🥳
Director Matt Osborne, who made music videos for artists such as Bebe Rexha, Lil Nas X, and Dua Lipa, participated in After We Ride MV's post-production.
T H E B U D G E T 😆
It's stories like the one of Brave Girls rise that make me so glad to have become a fan of kpop
The owner of this channel(PD) also has a small stake in Brave Girls movie like miracle story.
kinda.. key supporting actor of some sort?
He commented twice on the 'we ride' MV and surprisingly predicted their success just b4 the Brave Girls blew up this spring. lol
the cmnt PD left : 'Bro this song hits differently 6 months and chart topping and a music show win later'
although it wasnt the 'we ride' that he strongly appealed to...
a miracle happened with the their compilation vid (edit n posted by VIDITOR) of the 'rollin'/a song they released 4 yrs ago and performed in over 100 military bases for 4 yrs.
Ah! and now! 6 months later he predicted, we r listening to their new song 'After we ride'
I can't explain just how much I ADORE this song and I feel like you had the exact same experience I did when I first listened to it
This was a phenomenal song and MV indeed , very emotional after their strugle to get here
The wait is over.. I wait since it fresh from the brave brothers back pocket for your reaction.. I agree to all you say.. Long live queen..
PD was so at a lost for words he started stumbling. Draw jopping... lol 🤣
Man, I really hope they win a MAMA Award this year, 2021 is Brave Girls' year, they accomplished so much. I really hope more Fans jump on their bandwagon, they really were a hidden gem all this time.
I hope they can win a Daesang.
coming back to this on the 1 year anniversary if its release and I still feel the same way as you did a year ago about this song. for the arts and not the charts
I was waiting for ur video!!!! And ofc ur reaction was awesome as always.
Lets support Brave Girls, they deserved the world 🤗
Finally! A reaction from you mister :D So happy you finally reacted to this masterpiece.
Brave Girls really underrated such talent charisma and vocals. This is a masterpiece which will age beautifully.
It definitely has that nostalgic vibe-this was awesome
The song spoke to me on a very personal level, like a past I really tried hard to veil has been uncovered. And I remembered, casually having my dinner and randomly scrolling, getting excited after seeing a new release from Brave Girls, and then crying for the entire night, leaving my food untouched.
The amount you talk about high heels and deepened I hope we can get an analysis someday. I'm still obsessed with Brave Girls
IMMEDIATE 10/10
The a capella hit, and I was like OMG ----- bUT thEN the INSTRUMENTAL CAME IN WITH THEIR VOICES AND TOOK IT TO THE STRATOSPHERE, just chills!!, instant hit for me, so replayable, so much feels, very drive the night road trip ending credits feels
Hope you'll have a listening party to both summer queen and after 'we ride' album
She did react to summer queen on Patreon
I AM SO HAPPY you react to this song!! I was waiting for the day you react to this. :)
I was waiting for this reaction specifically and did not disappoint!!
Song of the year for me so far
i waited for this one week !
I knew you would love this. I get emotional every time i listen to this song♥
Brave Girls =
New generation IDOL, New Type IDOL
Yeah. Definitely got a bit emotional listening to this one, tears of joy mainly... Bit of sadness but yep. Yeah. Damn.
I really cried while listening and watching the music video and idk why? Maybe because I was heartbroken the time that this song was released. I listen to this casually every day and cry my heart out and repeat it every day, I'm really thankful that the reverse happened or else we wouldn't have this song.
I cried while watching and listening to the mv😭😭😭😭it's so beautiful and emotional
i remember watching the mv for the first time and feeling something like… a lingering feeling that i cannot point it out and also sort of nostalgic… the song definitely hits a spot even though there were no subtitles! it’s incredible
