Thank you for sharing. I think your paint job looks good, reason why is because it’s textured. Textured in my belief allows for different levels of textures.
That’s what I thought, but they classify raptor liner as custom paint, and they are not able to “restore the car to original condition” Dead set racq on the spot canceled my insurance policy, Youi were able to insure me for twice what I was paying previously, I have now down graded to third party to save money
Great info going to do my 06 rodeo Ute as well but I am going to spray mine using spray gun does give it the texture I won't be doing mine in Sun though will dry far to fast is it black as standard colour thanks..
Jeff 1969 hey mate, I know a guy that sprayed it on and it came up with a really cool textured finish, just make sure you sand the car properly first. Also after I painted the car I told my insurance Company and on the spot they voided my insurance policy, it took me hrs on the phone to get insurance again with a different company and now costs double the price it did before pretty stressful
ML6103 hi mate, I think that it has a lot to do with how hot the day was, if I did it again I would paint it in the shade I thinks that’s why it set so fast, also it’s very runny to start with so I think that thinning it out would make things worse. Hope this helps

jeepgal711 thanks mate,
Nice car and great video
I’m painting my van with a roller. Looks great close up!
Just make sure it’s allowed under your insurance policy, mine was voided when I told them I had painted my car with raptor liner 👍🏻
I didn’t think it would matter as long as I updated the colour with the dvla?
Have you any idea why this may be?

I’m posting this from Australia.
Shit mate, thanks for the heads up. I’m not likely to be able to get it done in this shitty weather anyway.

Thanks for the info, how's the paint holding up so far?
Very well, it did not stick properly to some chrome bits that I painted it onto. But everywhere else is solid
Do you think if you thinned it down you would avoid the issue with the disintegrating rollers? Just a thought as I’m planning on doing this to my car

Get an air gun and go over it with another coat. Won’t be perfect but would dress it up somewhat.
