Very interesting - more detail on the item itself would be welcome, just to see how it compares to the smaller axle versions for weight. And to see the folded package. Can see there's a stability advantage.

Definitely lighter, those axle ones are aluminium and protrude alot. This one is heavy but compact when folded, dont add much to the width, tested on Ikea dimpa bag

Piece of advise: Put something on the frame to prevent scratching the paint job.

Awesome video! I bought one of those cheap lightweight ones from Ali Express for €20 but will be keen to send it back if it's not good at supporting the bike when weight is attached

Hmmm from what I recall of the specs the rear triangle is not that strong and if you google broken rear triangle...
I use a Carradice Odyssey Saddlebag (26L) with a Bagman Saddlebag support. You can't fold the bike down as small as with without Bagman, but then you don't need to on most days. On days that I will be using public transport a lot I swap to a Quick Release Clamp. It's just a matter of two bolts and then you can fold the bike down to it's normal size and still use the saddlebag, although it is a little less stable.
And that leaves the carrier free for standing the bike and carrying some shopping or a pizza at the end of the day.

Idk, I've had some heavy stuff on the rear rack. Wouldn't put that much additional weight at top of the long seatpost. I think kickstand forces are very low, sideways mainly.

Isnt bag adapter max weight of 10 Kg? Plenty of pizzas though

Right, happened to me on Tern, bag too heavy, adapter broke and had to carry 15Kg bag on rear rack all the trip home
