  • In today's video, we wanted to try a more unique restaurant in Orlando, FL just off of I-Drive called Aashirwad Restaurant. This authentic Indian cuisine restaurant has some good reviews so we wanted to check it out ourselves. We haven't eaten much Indian food and there aren't too many options where we are so we were pretty excited to find a restaurant like this! Aashirwad Restaurant was awesome! Our waitress was very helpful with explaining the menu and telling us some great choices. We listened to her and she didn't steer us the wrong way! The appetizer was stinkin' good. The Mango Lassi was stinkin' good. The bread and two entrees were borderline stinkin' good. Then we finished it up with an awesome dessert! We were stuffed and had a bunch of leftovers to take home with us. We really enjoyed this spot and if you are looking for an Indian restaurant in Orlando, Florida or a great restaurant near I-Drive, check out Aashirwad Restaurant.
Stay tuned for another video coming soon. Thanks so much for watching! God Bless!!!

Leftover Indian food is amazing. And I don’t usually like leftovers. That place looks great

Oh I just thought of another one for you right at the end as you were talking about expanding your horizons! It's also in the iDrive area, it's called "Nile Ethiopian" and it is amazing! Such a different dining experience. Instead of with utensils you eat with the bread, which is sort of like a crepe and is called Injera.
Also just like Indian full of delicious and unique flavors. Definitely put it on your list. It's unlike anything you've eaten before. Not super spicy at all, but FULL of flavors. I've been there maybe five times and every one was memorable. Just something completely unique. Most of it is cooked slow and low. Think stews, lentils, slow cooked meats, etc. Then you pick it up with a spongy bread. It's AMAZING..

Now you know why a/c is set so low. Indian and spicy pad Thai will make you sweat.
Looks good, nice for you guys to show us variety of restaurants

Best indian restaurants around here are woodlands on obt and kohinoor in altamonte. Woodlands is vegetarian only but its most authentic.

Thank you so much for posting this one Alex and Timber. We will be staying at Dockside soon and have ummed and aahed about maybe putting Aashirwad on our list of places to go ( We have a number of excellent Indian restaurants here in North East England and the last Indian we tried in Orlando, the only difference between the two dishes we had was Peas!!). After this vlog I think we will take the 15 minute walk to enjoy their food
    Thanks again

Looks great I'm going to have to try it! Interesting fact a lot of people don't know. Chicken Tikka Masala is not a dish native to India. It was invented in the UK!

That looked amazing 🤩 you always know good fresh Indian food by the vibrance of colors ,YUM !! Tip: on the dessert menu- Gulab Jamon, try it and you will be in heaven.the good restaurants will drizzle a honey and rose water syrup over the top 👌 Indian restaurants are so great for sharing various dishes with many guests. They are the spice masters. 🇳🇿....oh and your naan bread looked superb

Mmmm, my favorite cusine, Indian, that I seem to eat on a weekly basis. I love hitting the lunch buffets while traveling, even though they're tougher to find these days. Your video has me wanting to go get some Indian now, even though I had it both this past Wednesday and Thursday. 😂

The red sauce looks good 👍 😋...met some UCF engineering students from India 🇮🇳 and their level of spiciness is right there with the Thai and Mexican food 👌. If you order Hot it's really flaming hot 🔥!

Rather than Chicken Tikka Masala, you should try Chicken Tikka. Shrimp Saag is good too.
Have you been to Akrit Palace on SW College in Ocala yet? Very good Indian food!

Love Indian food. Sooo much flavor. And your orders made me so hungry. I could've eaten them for breakfast. I don't get to eat Indian often because my wife doesn't care for the food's spices. And I married to her why? 😉
