Ville sure has a way with words.
I think it would be interesting to play chess with him.
You learn a lot about a person while watching them figure out their moves.

It reminds me of my first girlfriend. I was young and stupid and started dating this girl rose....God I'm an idiot. My first girlfriend could have easily been the love of my life.

The girl he's singing about...........I believe she's dead. He dreams about her being alive.
I actually really like that interpretation. Perhaps her death (whether that death be a physical death or the death of love as common in HIM) made him realize how much he really needed her.
