Love hearing about people's lives as athletes! It makes me want to do more fitness based things, lol. BTW, WE HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME AND FOR SOME REASON I THINK IT IS REALLY COOL! 😂 anywhoo have a nice day!
I'm a college athlete running cross country and track, it's definitely time consuming and much more serious (I'm at a D3 school but still have to run 7 days a week with 2 days of weightlifting), but I love running and the team so much it's worth it 😃
That's so crazy that thats a school in Missouri I'm from kansas city and go to college here in KC so it's neat to see someone from MO and not a far away!
I do swimming and I have to workout in the morning for 2 hours then shower and run to school then after school for another 2 hours but it gets easier because you get use to a routine but it gets easier
Lol I go to Southwest Baptist University & I’m on the basketball team & we just played this school yesterday went into double over time & got the dub. Great school tho
hey i know you don’t remeber me, but i went to the mwsu volleyball camp last summer and i plan to play volleyball in college. this video helped me a lot. i remeber you, kayla, and lauren and loach( i don’t remeber how to spell it)! thanks for the video!!
Hey i know u don’t know me and all but i am a junior in high school and i have been researching for colleges and I’m supposed to start my plan now so i am not sure if i want to be a student athlete when i get to college because I’m afraid I’m not ready for that commitment do you think that it is worth it? Because i absolutely love this sport i want to play but I’m not sure.
Hi Lauren! Honestly I think it's different for everyone! I loved it and I am so glad I stayed with it all the way to my senior year of college. Of course there were times I thought about quitting and that it wasn't worth it. I think every athlete does. I loved it and I couldn't imagine my life without it. I made a ton of connections and friends through it and I truly believe it made me a better person! But if you heart isn't in it 110% you probably won't enjoy it! You're love for the sport will be tested for sure! I hope that helps you!
See i love the sport with all my heart and i always have had the goal of doing it in college but after research and getting older and realizing that it’s a lot more work then i ever would have thought as a kid. I know i have time to decide i just don’t want to regret for the rest of my life not doing the thing i love the most in college. I’m just a non organized person and I’m not sure how it would work out for me in reality.
You are amazing you should definitely upload some videos about volleyball and some advice believe me it would totally help! Keep up the hard work and please upload some more videos about volleyball or a training day it would be really interesting! I am so inspired form this video thank you so much!!
In music in the curriculum first we do micro teaching then we will condition and then we will play the recoders or play the piano. My instructor wants the ones who are doing alumi band to be in shape.
cordai shadie do it! i never played volleyball before high school, and my freshman year i played for the first time. i had so much fun, and it was a great experience!
go for it! i never played soccer and i went in as a freshman and now i love it. yeah you might not make varsity at first but i didn’t care cause i had so much fun and made so many friends, plus i got fit/healthy doing it.
hei, I'm a student-athlete in high school in Norway, and I was wondering if you could direct me to a good athlete and medical school in the US. I graduate next year in May and im already freaking out about where to go
im going into high school next year and i have been in volleyball for three years. i love the sport, my goals are to make the varsity 1 team by junior year, and apply for a scholarship to a d1 level college. i have found myself to be a great player and at time management. however, the one thing im really nervous about is more intense conditioning. it just seems so tiring and even impossible. does anyone have any tips/comments?
Condition can be really hard! But it's a lot different in college. It is very intentional and specific to your sport. You don't just run a ton. You will have weight and conditioning programs specifically created and modified to help you get better at volleyball! I'm not saying there won't be days where you run a ton and or a day where is really really hard, but that's just part of playing sports! Especially if you want to go to a division I program!
SERIOUSLY!!!! I don't even know how this happened, but I freaking love that everyone loves it! Every time I log here I am like SHOOK that I have so many subscribers and so many views!! Should I make another video?!
Hey I just started my channel! I posted a vlog yesterday and if you could check it out that would be awesome! I'm a college athlete too but at the DIII level:)
