    Hi from Sheelagh in Johannesburg. Does running nearly always on the same side of the road affect this muscle imbalance? When the pavements (sidewalks) are rough as they often are in Johannesburg, then I run on the road facing the oncoming traffic. But the slope of the road means one foot is always lower than the other.

    I have this problem. My left leg is a lot stronger with more muscle mass but it’s the leg that’s giving me pain now I have started running.
