hi dear friend, thanks for this new reaction to ABBA songs in our ABBA Sundays
    "You Own Me One"
It's one of the most controversial ABBA songs, but for the fans, most of them don't like it at all.
    was edited as B-side of
"Under attack" (1982), ABBA's last single before their breakup
and is on the same experimental line
It was probably going to be part of their unfinished ninth album from 1982/1983
    I like a lot,
knows how to combine a hard lyrics with a happy melody,
the voices of the girls are impeccable and the chorus is very catchy,
has most of what characterizes ABBA songs
IMHO this song is almost on the same level as "Under attack" and "I am the city"
(the songs that ABBA recorded that year)
and although it is controversial in my taste and opinion,
I like it more than "The day before you came"
(the masterpiece for many fans, not for me)
says that Benny didn't like it, but we already know how demanding he is
he doesn't like "Just like that" either and a lot of fans would like ABBA to release it sometime
I wish you a nice week
my best regards to both of you from
    Buenos Aires, Argentina
    South America

Few people would have known of this song at the time, it only being a B-side to Under Attack. A good fun B-side, with many ABBA trademarks, but it's lacking in substance compared to what B&B would like to have been producing. They consider it "just a jingle" As for the Bahamas, it's just a rhyme for dramas :)
