Very off topic here but I gotta tell you what happ😢 yesterday. I had to empty the skimmer basket and I lifted the lid to two beady eyes treading water and looking at me. Yes! It was a RAT! The hubs just left for work so it was up to me to remove it. I sat and though about how for a few minutes, and decided that the DT grabber was the tool that would grab it and take it out so I found my grabber. The rat was on it's last legs when I got back to it. I got it out and just laid it on the ground. It stayed motionless for a good 20 minutes. Just as I was ready to get a bag to put it in the garbage, it came to life and I watched it slowly crawl away. Now I've had frogs and even a couple snakes in the skimmer before, (why I wait till full daylight before messing with the pool), but this was a first and I think neighborhoods a mile away could hear my scream!

😱😱I found a dead MOLE in mine last week! But I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt it was that dang kitty of mine! I always watch her crawling outta the big field in the back and I say “whatcha doin? Killing and torturing poor defenseless animals?” She hunts 24-7! But not to eat, just to torture- I’ve saved 1000’s of squirrels, moles, a snake, birds- you name it!! She probably had it so scared, it ran in there! My chickens got sick of her bullying, and fought back- now SHES scared of them😝😝
