VARMS goes Aerotowing. Jan 2025.

An easterly greeted us and blew directly across the runway all afternoon. Additionally, I thought the thermals were rather late. But arrive they did, (about 3pm?) to keep some lucky people up in the blue for a while. Oh yes: Talk About Blue! Not the day for white aircraft. My 1/4 scale Schweizer 1-26B did her best to de-pixelate a few times. At a measly 1600'. I fetched my Foka. End of problem. Black underneath and good for much more than our terrific 2000' ceiling. There were dramas aplenty to keep everyone on their toes. But they wont be seen on this particular clip. 2 successful maiden flights and a new electric tug were in the mix. Good ol' VARMS - never a dull moment.
