I use culligan's reverse osmosis to eliminate minerals in the water I use in my detail-recoditioning shop. No build up... affordable as well

Headphones and speakers with bass really show the tone change. If you can't hear it don't use laptop or phone speakers.

A water tube boiler will narrow tubes how do you propose to deal with scale build up? Good for 1 year then you will have to replace your water tubes.
