They would have to mismantle it because its too heavy to be floated off (obviously), and there's no way to safely work on the wreckage without spending a lot of money. Any accident would be costly and probably fatal since its so close to the falls. (It'll take just about 70 seconds for someone to reach the falls if they were to fall in the waters at the location of the wreck)

There are many ship wrecks sitting on the bottom of Lake Erie. Especially by the Pelee passage.

Wrecks in the Great Lakes are nothing unusual, I think the official number is 6,000 but I've heard there's as many as 25,000, many being undocumented.
