I like how the guttural French sounding Resh (Israeli style) is kept with the guttural Ayin and Het. Very nice combination. Very beautiful.

The ayin and het aren't guttural in Mizrahi pronunciation, they're pharyngeal. The Israeli resh isn't the resh Sephardic and mizrachi Jews usually speak with. They usually speak with an alveolar trill, alveolar fricative, or voices uvular fricative. The German R and French R is the modern Israeli resh because of ashkenazim. This is called the voices uvular fricative, which sounds similar to the uvular trill you might hear by some Mizrahim, but it's different. I didn't pay attention how he pronounced it in the video because I presumed he did the french resh, as you say, which is what everyone does because of the influence of the state of Israel

i love this tune- it's very different than what i'm used to, very rhythmic and lively, sounds more middle eastern than the ashkenazi pronunciation.

Is this the "Moorish" melody for Lekha Dodi? I found this on Wikipedia:
Among the Sephardic congregations, however, the hymn is universally chanted to an ancient Moorish melody of great interest, which is known to be much older than the text of "Lekhah Dodi" itself. This is clear not only from internal evidence, but also from the rubric in old prayer-books directing the hymn "to be sung to the melody of 'Shuvi Nafshi li-Menukhayekhi,'" a composition of Judah ha-Levi, who died nearly five centuries before Alkabetz.
Would you know otherwise where to find that Moorish tune for Lekha Dodi?
