Even the french team, they also lost in 2018vnl finals against russia and it took them 3 years to become a tokyo olympics gold medal and it took them 4 years to 2022vnl champions. So, for the japan team, their journey for becoming a world class and a #1 top team in the volleyball world is starting now. Bronze medal last year, silver medal this year, praying for the paris olympics and to the following years to come for gold medal

And also, this is japan FIRST time to be in the finals in FIVB competition against the french team who are gold medalist in tokyo olympics in 2021 and 2022VNL champions, and you expect japan to win. The french team was lost in 2018VNL finals against Russia and it took them 4years to be a champion in 2022VNL. If japan team lost this year vnl finals, at least they experienced on how that ONE point is important in this crucial game or how to handle pressure in this final games. Even ishikawa said that he doesn't know the feeling of being in the finals. Now team japan experienced it already, then let's give them a time to take that gold medal or the winning in the final in their succeeding games in the future!
