Was rehearsing this piece with my trio today. For the first eight bars of summer, my cellist said to imagine a guy smoking a cigar at some Argentinian cafe. Perfect description
Maybe the act of smoking goes better with The calm section
Feels more like walking through Buenos Aires during night

This piece, make me cry. I spend so hard times with my violin master course in abroad now, when I listen this music, especially 17:41. It really touches my heart. I fall in love with this.

Original work in this form, I believe, not an arrangement.
George N. Gianopoulos I believed it was originally for quintet (for his band) so I know his cellist has an arrangement for trio (José Bregato) but I believe this is different. Is it the original?
It is Bragato's. The link I sent has the pieces in a different order, but is the same as here. The information in the score is written in cyrillic, an it says Jose Bragato. I hope it helps! Kind regards from Miami. 🏖
It's an arrangement full of mistakes. Piazzolla was used to play the Bandonen with electric guitar, drums and double bass
