Goodonya mate - absolute genius! I’ve been using organza bags on my Asian pears, pluerries, figs, avocados, Cara Cara oranges, kiwis, and blueberries/raspberries, but never would it have occurred to me to use plastic containers like you illustrate! No squirrels, but the bloody tree-rats and birds are a nuisance! Thanks for the info!
I’m glad you found this video helpful. Let me know if it will also work for tree-rats. Wow I envy you, you have so many fruit trees especially the avocados. 😊
Thanks for the video 😊
My pleasure 😊
This is the smartest thing on the internet!
I have a pretty big shor wide pear tree and l cover it from the trunk up aroun hal way of the tree with plastic mesh and is keeping the rabbits, rats and squirrels away!!!!
I wouldn't recommend this on a tree that sits in full sun in the high desert. I put these very same plastic containers on my nectarines, and the 100 deg plus weather cooked them inside the containers.
