But everything from Blowing the #1 overall pick back to the Pre-season overstatements of the “new culture”, the “willingness to spend big”, the in game decision making including even fucking up picking to go with the wind. Drake Maye had the second best season at QB of any of these rookies and they still were a 3 win team before the Bills let them get a 4th to end the year.
Mayo knew for 5years he wanted to be a NFL Head Coach. He also knew 3 years ago he was the next Patriots head Coach. During this time he didn't assemble his own possible staff & coaches. Mayo did nothing for the last 5 years to prepare for his NFL Head Coaching Career. Mayo has no clue!

I can’t believe anyone really expected Mayo to win 7-9 games. They really thought there wouldn’t be a rough transition from Bill, who’s been coaching for 50yrs and head coach for 30yrs, to Mayo who’s been a positions coach for maybe 5yrs. Kraft may have ruined or seriously set back mayos career

Since the 2000 season in the NFL...19 coaches have been fired after 1 year as a Head Coach. If you're looking at statistics... 12 were White HCs, and 7 were Black HCs. Almost 1 per season. Mayo had a terrible roster and supporting staff. However, he was woefully unprepared, and had zero experience as a HC, or coordinator. He had never been either! His team was SO unprepared to play a game on numerous occasions. It was never about wins and losses this year. It was about culture and weekly improvement. He accomplished none of that!
