I just discovered your channel last week and have been watching 2 or 3 every evening. The timing of this video was perfect b/c I just used the last of my B&Bworks wash and was contemplating trying to make my own w/o all the chemicals and something more wallet friendly. I enjoy the down to earth chatty way you have in your videos.

For acne, Dollar Tree has Activated Charcoal Bars of soap for $1.25 and Activated Charcoal wipes for $1.25. This will clear the face of acne.
To remove Age Spots - turmeric powder and coconut oil to make a paste. Place on face, chest, arms, hands, and legs. Any place you have age or sun dark spots or scare on your face. Put a mask of turmeric on the face and allow you to sit for 20-30 minutes. Now be careful because this will stain furniture, towels and wash cloths. So don't use your good stuff. What I do is get in the shower to wash off with my hands. You will notice a difference in two weeks. I'm 78, and I don't have age spots or sun spots.

I had the same thing, but my hands use to bleed from the eczema (especially in the winter). So my Nonna and my Mum told me both to start putting Olive Oil on my hands while cooking and after washing dishes. I finally did it after way too many years and the fact that we moved to an extra humid state. IT WORKED!! Just another one of those listen to your Mum moments. Hope it works for you as well. Hi Ali-Thanks for a great video as always! I am an aesthetician and eczema and topical dermatitis causes can be different for everyone, however it is mostly internally from an imbalance or lack of oils in the system. Essential fatty oils or omega oils are very important. using things like ACV are not going to help and are actually very painful and sting to apply to an already irritated skin so the balms and gentle ointments can just make a barrier and help to stop itching. The best thing to do is to watch your diet of sugars and dairy if you have flair ups and to take vitamin D3 or evening primrose oil and eat lots of olive oils and essential fatty oils. A woman over 30 starts to deplete estrogen and so this is why we have to maintain balance and stimulate oil production. Also to use Black current seed oil- a few drop in your hand and warm it up and apply. Gamma linoleum acids are excellent to combine with this .You can also take this orally in tablet form. use gentle ph soaps and keep the area protected and your immune system up and your body nurtured it will fight it off naturally- Good luck and drink lots of water!

@@LittleHillHomesteadGa yes it is going to be difficult when you like to cook and eat yummy things but everything in moderation! And the fact that you do in fact bake/cook things yourself it is much better as you have control over the ingredients! Anything you buy in the store is only going to be temporary, and the natural things sometimes are not strong enough so work on your immune system and try this I am pretty sure it will do the trick!!

@@LittleHillHomesteadGa about your hands. I broke my wrist a t 2 yrs ago. Couldn't wear my my engagement rings( one is my mom's, she gave it to me when my dad passed) anyway, I my finger started breaking out under them. I think the skin was sensitive and caused that. But then the palms of my hands started breaking out in bumps and itches worse then poison ivy. I finally noticed that it was when I was cleaning something really dusty, like deep cleaning or outside working in the yard , no its not poison ivy wasn't around it. I told my doc about it, he didn't know but told me to use hydrocortisone 1% cream(Walmart) and does help with it itching. I also noticed that you said your nose itches every time you cook. Maybe the 2 could be connected. Maybe it's a brand of flour or something as simple as that. I would keep record of time it happens and maybe you figure out what is causing it. I kept a mental note and finally figured out its dust and soil that caused mine. Wearing gloves does help when I remember to wear them lol 😂 😊🥰😊🙏have a blessed week . Thanks again

One of the Best thing I have found with scones is to preheat the oven to 425F bake scones for 5 minutes then REDUCE temp to 375F and continue baking for 15 minutes and the other is to make the dough a day ahead and freeze and while the oven is preheating, take the scones out of the freezer, brush with cream and sprinkle with coarse sugar (regular sugar will work to) and then bake as I stated before.

I love the lotions from the brand Borage Therapy. I personally can't use Dr. Bronners. It's too drying for my skin and causes flair ups. I use the brand Jason. Hope you find what works for you soon. I have a question. I am trying to make narcissist essential oil from buff city soap. I can not find a recipe for it no here. It just takes me to how to make home laundry detergent and adding the scented oil. Lol I know how to make the laundry stuff. But I want to learn and I wanna know how to make narcissist essential oil, because now it's like a mystery that needs solving and most scents give me a migraine and it does not. Good morning! Here’s what I found. Typically top notes are the most forward and you would add a little more to whatever you are making so these are the most strong, a few drops less of the middle notes and even less of the base since you want them there but not in your face. I would make a small batch and add a few drops to a load to see what you think. From there adjust the scents to get the final result you like. I find it’s hard to recreate some things since they may use other chemicals or scents that aren’t 100% essential oils. I get most of my oils from Amazon and once I know I’m going to use them a bunch I’ll buy a larger bottle. Hope this helps!
      Top Notes:
      Peach, Raspberry, Osmanthus
      Middle Notes:
      Cinnamon, Anise, Rose, Orange Blossom
      Base Notes:
      Patchouli, Sandalwood, Egyptian Musk

@@LittleHillHomesteadGa Thank you so much for your help. If I get that scent down I plan on making room spray, wax melts or something to put in my wax warmer and possibly a body spray, shower gel. Lol I only have 2 body sprays I can wear currently. So when I find a scent I like I stick with it. Anything that has a scent I have to smell before I buy it. Sometimes that don't help. I bought 2 bottles of cologne yrs ago, wore the tester while I shopped ( I didn't wear any cologne that day for this reason) fell in love with the cologne, so I got 2 for $40 or $50. The mall was an hour away, I was on the car 5 minutes and got the worst migraine and nauseated 🤢 . I had to give both bottles away. I could wear it all day at home til I got in the car. Most of the time I know if I can wear it by smelling it. Lemons and stuff like that I usually don't have a problem with. Cucumber scents are the worst. Thanks again!!
