Tbh I haven’t watched any video of grant since he left good good until this podcast. I just love watching good good, just a bunch of friends playing golf and having fun is what’s making me watch it.
I'm a high school golf coach near Turlock, CA. Would love to see a meet-up occur at Turlock CC with Grant. My players would love that chance to meet a great role model.
I'm also a high school golf coach but in Parrish FL. I second this idea. Grant should start a vs (High School Team) series. Kids at that age group would eat that content up!!
Seeing bow busy Good Good is now, I totally understand his decision. Good Good is much more than just one week a month now. And hes so dedicated to his own channel, it just makes sense for him. And it's definitely worked out

I like watching Grants videos, especially when he’s playing George and Wesley. The Bryan Brothers are definitely the most entertaining golfers on RUclips. I’d like to see Rick do something with them.
Rick did a video with Wesley when he went to Florida. Rick tried to see how low he can go with Wesley playing everything from inside 130 yards. And George has been on the podcast before.

Grant succeeded on his own because he is a very personable character and plays brilliant golf. He plays wonderful golf courses and gets great guests on his videos. My favourite videos are those where he plays on his own just to watch his great golf and his joyful enthusiasm.

On the subject of Ryder Cup. The massive difference between the two teams was Team Europe's camaraderie. I clearly stood out and got them over the line.
Next time you're in Florida, you need to check out the redesigned Bobby Jones course in Sarasota. Set to open back up in November. Restored to it's original design and looking sweet. Can't wait to take some pelts and dart some greens.
Ricks teeth are pretty good as well! lol... I think the reason Good Good fans were upset when Grant left is because we liked Grant so much in Good Good and he matched so well with Garrett a lot of people were really upset he left.
Fascinating. To be honest, i havent watched Grant in anything after the breakup until this podcast. He's a solid dude and i truly miss him on GG. I agree his skill level may have been a driving factor to be solo. Either way, glad things smoothed out.

It's interesting to hear Rick say that most youth aspire to be you-tubers when they get older. My 12 year old son is that way too. I'm old enough to have seen RUclips from It's infancy to where it is today. I was sceptical but dont want to dissuade him. My advice to him is more along the lines of What are you going to do on your chanel? What makes your chanel stand out from others, why am i going to watch you instead of somebody else? The answer is of course personality, or at least that's one answer. Do you guys have any other advice?
Speaking of best players not playing blades: Colin Morikawa is playing combo set with P7MCs. Which is a muscle back, which is so forgiving for what it is
Not sure I agree that Ludvig Aberg swing is better than Rory. I guess it depends how you measure it but Ludvigs swing is very quick, sharp and jolty imo

Just in Thomas is on the Ryder Cup for the same reason why Rick said he can't beat Grant at stroke play but he can beat him at match play. They are different games and they suit different players. But just in Thomas just happens to be a match play phenom.
Just have to look at what Bryson did for the team last year and how good his golf has been even if it's not done on the actual PGA tour to know he should be on the team. Glad they touched on that.
It was good to get some insight from Grant. Out of all the GG members I always thought that he and Garrett had the potential to get to the next level. I'm not sure how far his personality can take him on RUclips and I hope if he doesn't ever give it a try he doesn't have regrets 10-15 years from now. RUclips exploded because of Covid and I think people are getting away from it lately. In any case I wish him all the best in his future no matter what he does.
For weeks you can’t record you need to do some “mailbag” specials where you’re taking and reading out listeners emails or something that isn’t time relevant. Keep a stock of 4 or 5 hours of that and you can release them when you can’t record
I think the biggest thing with him leaving was everyone was still kinda getting over Micah leaving and no one expected Grant to leave so when it came out of nowhere it was a huge shock! I honestly thought it was a joke at first when I first saw it!
SPOT ON , with the bunker analogy from American golf to Lynx Golf. American golf courses , all bunkers are avoidable. Lynx Golf bunkers are run-off collection points in fairways and coming off greens.
The only high profile person who’s son plays I can think of is Tiger Woods so if that’s the case I’m jealous. Anytime I see new RUclipsrs playing with or meeting Tiger or Fowler I get jealous. I grew up watching them both and now with my wanting to pursue golf I’ll be given said opportunities and play again Charlie honestly

The growth to Grant's channel after the initial dip after leaving GG was because of the absolute quality of the content that he put out. The collaborations have been beyond incredible and we all benefited.
Be nice to see stuff from Micah's POV. He's obviously not the most interesting of golf RUclips, but would selfishly love to know his current relationship with good good and more specifically Garrett his cousin.
