Может им пофиг на государственные границы и важно только то, что они из балканских лесов или типа того :] I don't know why everyone is so interested in the band from Serbia or not. Maybe they don't care about state borders and the only thing that matters is that they are from the Balkan forests or something :] The segment from 13:04 to the end is cool!
Why didn't the band members reveal their country of origin? I guess they're from Serbia/Croatia/Bosnia. I have a little knowledge of culture of those countries and I noticed Смрт means 'death' in their language.

CMPT is an anonymous black metal formation spawned from haunted cults and dark folklore of the bloody Balkan soil. This name itself represents a Cyrillic transcription (SMRT in Latin) which translates purely as "Death" in all the languages of the Balkan tribes and is with certain variations understandable in the rest of the Slavic world. Coming from pre-Christian times, the cult of Death has withstood all the temptations of time and has been successfully preserved in the local culture of Balkan people, to this day still being practiced on a conscious or subconscious level. Found on a specific cross between the old indigenous elements and the ancient Slavic folklore, CMPT is a dedication to the authentic Balkan worship of Death, a monument of praise for the unclean spirits, nocturnal rites and forbidden cults that have cursed these lands centuries before the first Byzantine missions arrived. I am not a Balkanoid but a Serb. Saying Balkan is cringe and it lumps all the cultures into one big ,,Balkan" culture.
