What’s a great project presentation without a photorealistic animation? In our series wrap-up episode, Boyan Petrov, 3D artist at Chaos, demonstrates how to export a quick preview animation before committing to production rendering using V-Ray Vision. Then, he’ll create the final animation using the power of the Chaos ecosystem.

this is the best tutorial series on vray for sketchup and I really appreciate your time. learned a lot. the best thing about these tutorials is the duration of each video. time is of great value and you have done justice with it. thankyou so much. really appreciate it.

When I try to use the chaos cloud it to render it, it says I can't cause I have no credits. The credit thing is new? Or on top of paying to have vray I also must pay to have credits to render through the cloud?

Why is quallity of image much worse in Vision then in Render...for example I just try this animation and it doesnt looks realistic at all....but photos from Vray Render are just amazing. The same scene, same materials, same reflections etc.....i dont understand

Thanks for the great content! Helps a lot with troubleshooting when things go wrong. My vision animation comes out pixelated. Any idea what that could be? And the production renders are super slow on a super fast pc. Tried on the cloud also, with even slower rendering results.

    Hi there,
I have been looking for the answer to a question, but I guess I don't have enough knowledge or skill about software to find my answer. I hope you guys or any other experts can help me to answer this question:
In terms of realism, clarity, depth, or overall quality, is there a difference between Sketchup V-Ray and 3ds Max V-Ray renderings? Please help, if I can find the answer, I will have an idea of what direction I should keep going.
I am good in Sketchup and learning V-Ray rending within it, but somehow I feel like others working with 3ds Max +V-Ray is always ahead! I am not sure if it is only about personal skills, or actually the difference between the two software.. Thanks a lot !

Recommend Ryzen 5 or 7, or core i7 or core i9
usually, 16 Gb RAM, more is better
      minimun HD Monitor 1440p resolution
If you work with Animation, purchase and RTX series, otherwise if you only use the processor you need and good cooler liquid or wind
And complete Rendering PC maybe cost $3000 or 4000$
You need be to intelligence for purchase any component you need for this type of work

Vray need to have stand-alone programe that contain animated objects much advanced options for animation like lumion 3d and D5 programe vray is much behind that kind of programs in animation production and need to be much faster in rendering

What kind of machine specs are you working with? Mine is a Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1240 v6 @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz, 32.0 GB, Nvidia Quadro P4000, SSD 1TB and I am struggling everytime i need to perform a RT render or work with Vision especially when i have v-ray skatter on or Fur. It is a nightmare! What specs would you recommend, please!? something that`s not crazy expensive! Many thanks

Wow, this is interesting to know. 1 tiny animation of 3 seconds cost you $ 191. If you invest in a good CPU and lets say a RTX A4000, you you will have return on investment in no-time. Of course when making animations is in your workflow. I always start to render at about 6PM and let the pc run during the night.

😂 Thanks but how I wish it’s same in real life complex projects..
The Vray Vision here takes like only 3-5 seconds to load but in my PC, 20min or more minutes before you can move it. Even crashes. I guess this is meant for high end RTX cards. I have dual GTX1080 Alienware pc, i9 intel cpu, already powerful beast and still choking 😂 😂
