Thank you for the great video. Question: Does every beat needs a turning point? We don´t have a clear turning point in the Mr. Bennet/Mrs. Long beat, am I right? So, is the beat only necessary on scene level? Or on beat level also?
Personally, I look at a beat and other story divisions as more of a tool to analyze and tell why it seems boring or fake rather than as a prescription that need to be follow or else.
We were told to do an assignment given to us in the class yesterday. It's about a beat, we should write a new story which cover an event that happened in my school and with beat in it, how am I going to do it ?
