What a refreshing non mecha build! Tempted to get that. I REALLY wish there was a battletech model kit out there. A Timberwolf, or an Atlas would be BAD-ASS.
There's a resin kit out there for the Timberwolf. Good luck finding one for sale tho.

I just finished this model, I had to use glue for the antena, back plates, and change some translucid parts from the light, at the end it´s very cool kit, so much nostalgia!

it ended up looking really nice but man i could see how frustrating those fitting issues are, especially when you were placing the piece that goes over the tank treads at the end. looks like a nightmare

With all the detail that they put into the internal model it might be cool to make a “battle damaged” model, one that looks like it’s had parts of the armour blown off to expose the internal mechanisms.
or maybe one in the process of receiveing repairs or maintaince.

honestly this 3rd party model is really pain in the ass when I had it 2 years ago, really testing my patient until I quit. but after roughly a year later I started to continue what I left behind begin to felt this is challenging. did some modification and weathering and it's now on my show case.
You should do the weird mini mecha version of the metal slug 5 too

i built this yesterday. the back rear armor when trying to put the head of the tank was a nightmare but it is doable... then comes the tracks 😑
seems that : i can only play the china product of the M.S.EVOVE 001 , but ngl about the model kit that the model is very very a lot of details ( ecept from the pain in the hand cuz the model don't have the smooth like the japan models but ... like there's no japan models of that , so .. yeah ...)
so i think it's a very cool model for a china's model , i like the kit it bring me a super big memories about playing MetalSlug games 0_0
Next build idea hasewaga 1/72 Macross VF-1A you could do a 3 part series due to no transformation.

The construction of the outer parts looked kind of annoying to put together? Lots of parts needed to be kept in place by hand?
If I can find this for around 25 euro, it's certainly worth picking up (though I guess europe won't be so lucky with the pricing).

Damn with all that mechanical detail kinda makes you want to use the clear parts. Because it really give this feel you should buy two of these one for normal look and the other clear.😅

So, do you just redub these after the fact? There is a pretty strange gap where it looks like there is still talking going on at 3:52 , but just kind of awkward silence?
Question before I continue to watch the video. Would you be able to do kit bashing or is that too much? If yes I'd love to see what gundams you can build by Kit bashing. I'm trying to make my own Barbatos via this method.

About pieces, i assambled it perfectly for the first time, and pieces fit very well, but when i decided to custom it, dissamble the pieces, apply a layer of paint and reassamble it, it was a mess.
So i think the model was made so exact and milimetrical, that it does not support a layer of paint.
I have the intention of buy another, but now cover joints to get better results.
Also pieces quality was a shit, they broke easily
My man, what a great job you did, everything looks so clean however I got an complain...No metal slug music on the video WTF! For that I will have to give you a thumb down...Just kidding, here is my thumb up. You desert it.
