Sweary Stanley the starling

Starlings are amazing mimics. They learn to mimic the sounds of their environment. This is Stanley the starling. He’s been visiting my windowsill for over 3 years now and during those three years I have been fascinated to hear his repertoire develop.
In this film you will hear Stanley mimicking a variety of other birds as well as my voice (saying something that sounds like “My pig sweats”), my partner blowing his nose, excited children screaming in the school playground nearby and a deep man’s voice saying something naughty!
