Ryan forgot to mention another sandwich shop: Quiznos. We used to have a bunch of locations about 10-15 years ago, but then a lot of Quiznos locations got shut down and now there’s only 3 stores left here (I live in the same city in southern Alberta as Ryan). As for Mr. SUB, there’s 5 locations here, and 19 in total for the whole province, as opposed to 9 or 10 for Mr. SUB. There’s tons of Subways though, they absolutely have a stranglehold on the market. There’s probably more Subways just in our city alone, than there is Mr. SUBs in the whole province. As for my Subway order, ever since I first started buying subway myself with my own money around 2008, I’ve always got the same order: meatball marinara on white Italian, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, olives, ranch, and salt & pepper. Simple, easy, and delicious. 👌🏼
