Jimmie Blacksmith is fascinated film 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟
I wish they would have continued with the Dog of The Week segment, or something similar, on their subsequent review shows. God knows there is never a shortage of lousy movies.
The Idolmaker is for those who think the Osmonds are too hardcore 😏
The dude pretends he's Bela Lugosi's Dracula and the footage being played is from a Christopher Lee Dracula film !
"Battle Beyond the Stars" as a Dog of the Week? I always thought that movie was an intentional, tongue-in-cheek low-budget film. When I saw it as a kid I didn't take it as a serious movie. Either Gene or I didn't get the movie, I suppose!
Don't listen to Gene's review of "The Idol Maker". Ray Sharkey's performance in the "Idol Maker" was great. The film was great and the original music for the film was great.
Absolutely agree, Great film. Watched it on RUclips many times this week.
Gene's always a Debbie downer
I remember Fade to Black. My late father was upset with me watching it because of the violence.
It was very offbeat and I did enjoy this movie
@@kdohertygizbur I agree. It is a good movie.
I was upset with me for watching it because it sucked. I remember not being interested in seeing it a second time and 43 years later it remains a 1 and done.
Hello Movie Buffs! David here I been a movie buff for over fifty years and Gene is way off on what he said about Ray in the Idolmaker! He was fantastic in the movie! A true modern classic I seen it at least 10 times over the years, No movie like it. Please leave your thoughts about the movie here 😊
No way do I trust Siskel and Ebert on post-1960s Godard.
was hoping that “Every Man For Himself” was a review of Herzog’s “Every man for himself and god against all” (commonly retitled in english as “the enigma of kasper hauer”), but it’s a Godard movie. herzog’s inscrutable art movies are way better than Godards’s
I cannot believe Ebert liked Fade To Black. It's terrible.
