Another great video! You've inspired me to begin my research into a driving setup! Is there any particular reason you chose Fanatec over the others? I've been looking at either the Fanatec ClubSport DD or the Moza R12, and then sticking with the same brand for the other accessories (pedals, gear shift, etc). I appreciate any insight and recommendations you may have! 😄
You’ve come to the right place! I’m glad to help you out. In my experience, Fanatec offers the best mix of value and performance. Plus, if you go with a Fanatec wheelbase, you can use a simple adapter like this Podium Hub www.fanatec.com/eu-en/steering-wheels/podium-hub?FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2 to connect any Moza wheel, like the Moza TSW mozaracing.com/moza-tsw-steering-wheel?ref=VYCVzIGOMI0k4p You’ll just need the Moza Hub mozaracing.com/product/universal-hub?ref=VYCVzIGOMI0k4p to make it work. I highly recommend the Fanatec DD+ fanatec.com/eu-en/detail/index/sArticle/1896?FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2 it’s hands down the best wheelbase I’ve used, even compared to some high-end options like Simucube. One thing I wouldn’t suggest from Fanatec is their handbrake. Unfortunately, it’s not their best product. Instead, I’d go with the Moza HBP mozaracing.com/product/moza-hbp-handbrake?ref=VYCVzIGOMI0k4p or, if you want to go all out, the Sim-Lab Handbrake simlab.prf.hn/l/1ej2Maj which is one of the best out there. I hope this helps, and feel free to reach out if you have more questions! 🙌
I could only wish to have a setup like this 😂 I wanna get into sim racing and thinking about getting my first setup. I've been doing some research and picked the fanatec csl dd bundle but I still wanna know your opinion?
I really hope you end up with a setup like this if you discover that sim racing is your thing😊 For a great starting point, I'd suggest checking out one of the ready-to-race bundles available here: fanatec.com/eu-en/ready2race/?_gl=1*1iq9uzr*_up*MQ..*_ga*NjkxNDQ4NjQ5LjE2OTU2ODMwNjM.*_ga_Q6VYC4JPVE*MTY5NTY4MzA2Mi4xLjAuMTY5NTY4MzA2Mi4wLjAuMA..&FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2 They offer a solid foundation and can be easily upgraded down the line if you decide to dive deeper into the hobby. Happy driving!🙌
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m really glad you find the videos relaxing 🙌. I totally get the space issue, but just so you know, my entire rig doesn’t take up that much room. The whole setup with everything else around it fits in a room that’s around 3x5 meters, so it might be more doable than you think! Thanks again for watching, and I’m happy the videos bring you some good vibes🙏🙌
@@ProjectSimRacing while 3x5 meters isn't that big, it's more than half of my entire living space 😅 then there's the issue of cost, with your rig costing more than an entry level car. Which you can only afford on a good salary or working your ass of, at which point the question begs; how does one even have time to balance both? And you've done it, which just impresses me even more than I already am 😄👌
Honestly, it wasn’t easy! I worked really hard for a few years to save up for this setup, but even then, I had to make some tough choices. I ended up selling my 420hp Golf R mk7 to make it happen. That car was a blast, but building this dream rig was more important to me. It’s all about prioritizing what you’re passionate about!😉
@@ProjectSimRacing yeah I can only imagine the amount of sweat, tears, blood and hours sacrificed to get where you're at and I hope to one day get there myself. I also remember we talked about it before, selling your golf. It's sort of bittersweet, having to choose between things you love. But at the same time, a bright point in it all, is that now you can drive a golf r virtually any time you like without having to worry about gas and maintenance costs, and crash it however many times you like without going bankrupt 😅👌
@mezkhalin You're absolutely right-it was a bittersweet decision, but in the end, it was the right one for me. I do miss the Golf R sometimes, but having the ability to drive it virtually whenever I want, without any of the real-world worries, is pretty awesome. Plus, it’s opened up a whole new world of racing experiences I wouldn’t have had otherwise. I’m sure you’ll get there too, just keep pushing toward your dream setup!
Thank you so much mate! I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings and turn the steering angle to 1800 😉
So what can be said? It's a great system, a great ride, this is everyone's dream, but I'm sure it wasn't easy to make such a system. Top quality equipment is used and provides a surreal service. When you get bored, get in your truck and pick up and carry loads like in reality. Since it is my area of interest, I like the ETS2 and ATS videos and watch them with interest until the end. I would like to make a recommendation; In ets 2 and ats games, instead of using the same tractors (Kenworth&Volvo) all the time, you should try different tractors. This will be better for us, the viewers, and will provide more viewers for you...

I'm new to ATS/ETS2 but I've noticed that headlights are pretty much non exist when in daytime bad weather or early morning/late afternoon when its not completely dark but dark enough for my eyes. Headlights are only visible when its in night time. In your video its a dark rainy day and the roads are pretty dark but I cannot see any beam from your headlights, even the incoming traffic have pretty weak headlights, e.g., 9:36. @@ProjectSimRacing thanks so much, im still undecided on weather to sell up on fanatec and move over to moza but this wheel does seem really good for what i want
@T3Houdini with pleasure mate!
The way I see it, keeping your Fanatec wheelbase allows you to use both Fanatec wheels/gear and Moza😁😉
daang I want this kind of setup
😁 Thank you mate!
Here's my setup tour video in case you haven't seen it yet 😊 ruclips.net/video/PmI0VHUsQpY/видео.htmlsi=7Fc-5s2LrIk-WcK8
Bro please can you make more videos with Volvo VNL.
Will do mate👍😊
Do you use the vr or is like this the 1st Person in Ac
I actually use a helmet mounted GoPro and this setup to make my videos 😊 ruclips.net/video/PmI0VHUsQpY/видео.htmlsi=7Fc-5s2LrIk-WcK8
Is it possibel to get the wheel what you have and put it on a csl dd?
Yup👍😊
All you need is this Fanatec adapter www.fanatec.com/eu-en/steering-wheels/podium-hub?FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2
This Moza hub mozaracing.com/product/universal-hub?ref=VYCVzIGOMI0k4p
And of course the wheel itself 😁 mozaracing.com/moza-tsw-steering-wheel?ref=VYCVzIGOMI0k4p
@@ProjectSimRacing 530€ thats to expensiv for me i dont earn this money in a month
@@ProjectSimRacing You know a other wheel for fanatec because i only have the mclaren gt3 wheel?
@timon1194 then I really recommend you get this wheel 🙂 fanatec.com/eu-en/steering-wheels/clubsport-steering-wheel-classic-2-v2?number=CS_SW_RCLASSIC2_V2&FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2

Btw here's one that has a lot of ice! Aspecialy in the beginning ruclips.net/video/87HE1Q2y8jY/видео.htmlsi=apPDGkj1ntFSfOsy
@@ProjectSimRacing thanks tuff guy 😎
@dreamer8474 any time mate! 🙌
Where are you going Emily yes it is my ❤
Why don't you just stick with Moza? I think their steering wheels are really good, so you don't need a third-party adapter!
Because I love my Fanatec DD+ wheelbase! I think is one of the best wheelbases you can get right now 😊
That’s right (although the best one is Podium Wheel Base DD2, but it’s out of stock now) [doge]
I actually think the DD+ is even better then the DD2! Even if the DD2 has more Nm, the DD+ gives you a lot more detailed ffb.
@ProjectSimRacing Hi im a new sim racer and i wanted to do trucking but I'm broke whats a good wheel,peddals and a shifter for me?
Welcome to the sim world mate! 😊🙌
Anything that you can afford from this link is a very good setup that you'll have for many years to come fanatec.com/eu-en/ready2race/?_gl=1*1iq9uzr*_up*MQ..*_ga*NjkxNDQ4NjQ5LjE2OTU2ODMwNjM.*_ga_Q6VYC4JPVE*MTY5NTY4MzA2Mi4xLjAuMTY5NTY4MzA2Mi4wLjAuMA..&FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2
are you running any other mods besides the brutal weather and graphics mod?
Some small mods, but nothing special.. Will try to make a list with all the mods soon.
Does anyone know if there is anyway of fitting the wheel used in the video on a Simucube 2
Not sure if it works with Simucube as well, but you do get an adapter with the Moza Hub that you need anyway mozaracing.com/product/universal-hub?ref=VYCVzIGOMI0k4p
And here's the wheel as well 😊mozaracing.com/moza-tsw-steering-wheel?ref=VYCVzIGOMI0k4p
What's the rotation angle for this truck, 1152º or so?
I actually use 1800 degrees 😉
@@ProjectSimRacing your base support that?
@mustaproductionsperez6726 it goes up to 2400 degrees if I'm not mistaken 😉
@@ProjectSimRacing omg
@mustaproductionsperez6726 😊
Hey is me again! I wanted to ask you can you give me some tips to upgrade my g29 setup??
Hi mate! Sure😊
Anything that you can afford from this link will be a game-changer for you fanatec.com/eu-en/ready2race/?_gl=1*1iq9uzr*_up*MQ..*_ga*NjkxNDQ4NjQ5LjE2OTU2ODMwNjM.*_ga_Q6VYC4JPVE*MTY5NTY4MzA2Mi4xLjAuMTY5NTY4MzA2Mi4wLjAuMA..&FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2
But if you want the absolute best wheelbase, then this is the one to get fanatec.com/eu-en/detail/index/sArticle/1896?FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2
But it's a lot of money, and you also need pedals, a wheel or two, and everything around you. So if you are on a budget, the ready to race bundles are great!
@@ProjectSimRacingthanks!!

What extension and shift knob is this?
Here you go mate pphalmar.pl/gry-symulacyjne/almar-skrs-galka-biegow-man-tga-i-tgx-ats-ets-g27-g25-g29shift
can we get in game graphic settings please💗
Everything is at max settings except the scaling, I run that at 200%. Resolution at 7680x1440 😊
@@ProjectSimRacing thank you so much, one more thing is it possible to get your in game ats ffb settings?
@user-io6kk7tm7q you're welcome mate!
I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings and turn the steering angle to 1800 degrees 😊
Whats the fov for this game? Single 55
If you only run on a single 55" TV, then you only need to adjust your seating position 😉
@@ProjectSimRacing i dont think default was right I dont remember what default was but im at 53 degrees now
Buy a vr headset at this point
I like triple screens better 😉
