G'day mate recently just pulled off the p5 from my ute and apart and they don't sound the same anymore nothing wrong with the internals how tight do the screws need to be to get that beautiful sound back cheers
Love the sound of a new cast P5, I just keep looking for a big black locomotive with a horse on front...or a red nose with CN in big letters. Used to associate it with Southern Railway, but that was a long time ago. That is a lovely horn.

sounds like the 1 bell needs to be fixed, but nice looking horn
I think the restrictor is causing the 1 to almost not come in. I checked it and it works great. No issues.

The P5 sound is really growing on me. What does the restrictor do? Make it more air efficient, or quieter?
All of the above. A restrictor is just a simple pipe plug that is drilled out to a specific size, and then threaded in the manifold port.
