Gold is a bit too loud for me but love their spoke pattern. That front end is a major upgrade though. Would also like to see those taillights installed if they ever come in!
Hello Gents! I’m huge fan of your channel. I worked for American Honda Motor Co. for 30 years until my recent retirement. I have always loved seeing people enjoying and appreciating Honda’s products from automobiles, motorcycles, power equipment and small engineers. Honda’s focus has always been on engineering brilliance and innovation while retaining simplicity and reliability. It was always my dream as teen when I first saw the 1986 Honda Accord to work for Honda. I was fortunate enough immediately after university to have been given an opportunity to get my foot in the door. I was able to work my way up as a Sr. Project Leader in AHM’s Automobile Sales Division’s Product Planning Department. Anyway, I was just watching you guys install a modern infotainment screen on a older Cvic Si. I recently inherited my uncle’s 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350 when he felt that he was getting tool old to drive safely. I received it with only 65,000 miles. It’s in pristine condition, something of a “old dude’s” car. Never driven hard, serviced at a dealer, and garaged for its entire life. The paint is absolutely gorgeous and not a single rock chip on the front end. I wanted to know if you can recommend a similar modern infotainment upgrade which will provide me with CarPlay or Android Auto. Any recommendations you can share is much appreciated for the 2014 Mercedes-Benz W212 : M276 : 4 Door Sedan with a 3.5L V6 RWD. Thank you very much!
Honestly if I could afford it, I’d get a Toyota truck or SUV and send it to you guys to do a quick and simple build on like this. Love the taste and these videos!
I like the long builds and the short builds - It's nice to have the variety. That said, now that you've gotten a couple trucks under your belts, how about a mini truck build? A Mazda B series/Ford Ranger/Toyota Pickup/Nissan Hardbody built low for the track would be cool
Go for gold! It really makes the truck stand out so much without silly mods. Great choice! Also, the quick mod videos are fun, but I really prefer the big, complex projects. The K-swap 240 is still my favorite, and it taught me so much as I plan to do a similar project in the near future.
If the tacoma wasn't already so gray/monotone, I'd say the gunmetal(the gold wheels work better for the simpler, bolder lines though), but the colour sets it off better. Ideally, I'd go with a dark bronze with those wheels... The golds are pretty shouty lol
When you guys pulled in to Tim Horton’s, and the first showing of the Tacoma, right before you pulled forward at 13:09 , I thought that was the truck sounding like that. And I was like, “NO WAY. A supercharged V6 Tacoma doesn’t sound like that.” And then I saw the Evo X and it made a little more sense.🤣
The front driver side wheel looks like it has a little counterbalancing going on! Make sure to never install add’l weight on the second spin if the machine requests it. Adjust the first set of weights you installed by adding/removing to the strip with no gaps in weights.
These shorter mod series are really good. Don't get me wrong I'm always looking forward to the JDM legends builds which are epic and iconic, but I do enjoy these videos also modding a wider range of vehicles.
I enjoy the quick mods, especially heavy on the Toyota/Lexus end of the spectrum, mixed with the longer in-depth videos. I’m a fan of both wheel colors, but you need to change the TRD sticker on the bed to match whichever wheel choice you decide.
I’m a sucker for that style/color of wheels. When I own another hot hatch, I’m shooting for the GR Corolla with wheel similar to those. Great video guys and I’m really enjoying these two-part builds that are very doable to the typical car enthusiast
Quick builds are a cool break in-between your larger projects, please keep it going! As for Wheel choice- i like the gunmetal/black wheels on your Taco.
Although the gold is not my thing, it does look good on that Taco. Personally, I dig the gunmetal set. Next time, bring me back some blueberry Timbits!
Love the new look of the truck as I have the same colour and now can picture mine with those mods. As per choice of rims, gun metal all the way. Looks slick, sounds nice and mean now. Great job. Waiting to see new tail lights to complete the total change of truck. !!!
Power, suspension, wheels...i wonder how the stopping power is for you guys🤔. I never liked the OEM stopping power on my 2016 TRD sport so i opted for some aftermarket rotors and braided lines.
Wow truck looks awesome. Great job 👏 i will Vote for Gold rims. I hope i can ever afford to get the same look to my tacoma. It will be a dream come true.
Gun metal gray is a better fit but it's your truck and your choice. I also wonder if the OEM rims would fit my 07 Tacoma as I'm looking at upgrading my rims as the silver is peeling after 15 years.
Gold is a bit too loud for me but love their spoke pattern. That front end is a major upgrade though. Would also like to see those taillights installed if they ever come in!
super loud lol
this. and I usually like gold wheels... but they just don't work here.
The gold might look ok now, but I’d get tired of it in a hurry. Satin black FTW.
I manage a Valvoline Instant Oil Change in upstate NY. I love that you guy's support Valvoline products with your builds! Sweet Tacoma!!
I'm on team "Look At Me!!!" Those Rays look good. A shade or two darker and they're perfect.
The 57DRs mag blue would look sickk

Thank you very much!
Love the Tacoma, black wheels for me however. Thank you for the content.
Yeah agreed those gold rims are really ugly and don't fit imo.
@@zezom3341 thought the same, mad ugly
The headlight upgrade really does the most in changing the look imo
The truck looks amazing. The front end change is really nice. On the wheels, I like gold spoke pattern, but with the gun metal finish.
Correct answer
Go for the gold, DP - a little visual pop never hurt anybody! And,man, I wish I had your parts budget 😆
Yeah all I need for mine is the grill but it’s still a bit too expensive
Looks so good! Gold/Bronze is always a solid choice for anything, I guess that's why i've ended up with it on all my cars.
Love the mix of quick and long/detailed builds. I think if the Gold wheels were bronze that would look mint!
the lights are awesome like the grill
Love the quick builds sprinkled in with the regular content. Keep up the great work!
Honestly if I could afford it, I’d get a Toyota truck or SUV and send it to you guys to do a quick and simple build on like this. Love the taste and these videos!
Both wheel setups look awesome! The gold really pops on the Tacoma but the gunmetal gives the truck a stealthy look.
DP with the mad Oil pouring skills! I’m team Gold all the way.
I like the long builds and the short builds - It's nice to have the variety. That said, now that you've gotten a couple trucks under your belts, how about a mini truck build? A Mazda B series/Ford Ranger/Toyota Pickup/Nissan Hardbody built low for the track would be cool
Those gold wheels are it! Thanks again for all your content!
Dave's oil pour is the greatest thing I have ever seen! Can't wait to get my SA shit.
As a 3rd Gen taco owner, those rims are a game changer. That tire size made me hit rewind about 4 times…. I would have never thought they’d never fit.
honestly I would rock both wheels the way you have it, looks awesome
That oil filling technique is the kind of bad-assery i expect from speed academy.
Gunmetal black wheels really look good on the Tacome!
Considering the truck is supercharged, the gold wheels are appropriate. The gunmetal wheels look fantastic.
Gunmetal finish WITH the 6 spoke would be NICE
Team PT, that Gun Metal fits the truck way way better than the gold.
Headlights are badass. Thanks again guys! They look great on my taco.
Dan the Electrician.
Those gram lights in gun metal would have been the ticket.
Gold all the way. I definitely want to mirror this build one day
The dark, minimalistic theme is much better imo
Wish the gold was a touch darker. Also needs some center caps but I love the sound of that exhaust.
Go for gold! It really makes the truck stand out so much without silly mods. Great choice!
Also, the quick mod videos are fun, but I really prefer the big, complex projects. The K-swap 240 is still my favorite, and it taught me so much as I plan to do a similar project in the near future.

You know what would be a good Toyota video? ANYTHING ABOUT THE CELICA! Covid, my ass....... lets go already!
Team DP, love those gold six spokes
The truck looks great with the gold Rays wheels. Enjoy these quick build videos along with all the content.
That grill is legit
Team TP with the subtle, black wheels.
The gold looks amazing but they would look even better on a white runner
The gold wheels are where its at!!!!
Doing quick builds for your subscribers cars contest style would be a really nice change. But I equally love the longer builds
Production on this video was top notch 👌 Very quality stuff
Love the gold contrast
The front driver side wheel looks like it has a little counterbalancing going on! Make sure to never install add’l weight on the second spin if the machine requests it. Adjust the first set of weights you installed by adding/removing to the strip with no gaps in weights.
Black wheels are the way of the samurai
The gold wheels look so much better on the Tacoma. I love the way the truck turned out
Team DP all day
Those gold wheels are FIREEEE
It's always enjoying watching y'all's videos
I would never have those gold wheels on my taco, I think loud is an understatement.
Love both your quick builds and the more in-depth builds. Really enjoy the variety of builds that you guys do too!
These shorter mod series are really good. Don't get me wrong I'm always looking forward to the JDM legends builds which are epic and iconic, but I do enjoy these videos also modding a wider range of vehicles.
I really enjoy these build videos! Great to see what’s possible with some easy mods
Rays 57's you got that sauce like heinz
I like the short builds and bigger builds! Both are awesome!
Nice truck I think you need to get those brackets 🤙
Great looking build. I like the clean look of the gunmetal over the gold.
I enjoy the quick mods, especially heavy on the Toyota/Lexus end of the spectrum, mixed with the longer in-depth videos. I’m a fan of both wheel colors, but you need to change the TRD sticker on the bed to match whichever wheel choice you decide.
PT just wants the gold on the 4-Runner! The gold would look great against the white truck.
the EVO in the drivethru is what really got my attention lol. deff wasn't stock sounding.
The gold does really pop a bit, but I love it!
I’m a sucker for that style/color of wheels. When I own another hot hatch, I’m shooting for the GR Corolla with wheel similar to those.
Great video guys and I’m really enjoying these two-part builds that are very doable to the typical car enthusiast
I like both styles, I think the short ones could help pay some bills though. Love Dave’s antics, truly adds to it.
Quick simple builds are the best! Truck looks great with both sets of wheels too good job again guys
Love the quick builds guys !
Great job on the production of the video!. I thought it was well paced and your delivery kept it interesting. New subscriber
Gold wheels look sooooo badd. Those black ones are dope
Love both the quick builds and the in depth builds! Keep doing both!!
Black rims looking sleek both rims look good though great content 👌🏽🙌🏽
Gold looks fresh
Quick builds are a cool break in-between your larger projects, please keep it going! As for Wheel choice- i like the gunmetal/black wheels on your Taco.
Although the gold is not my thing, it does look good on that Taco. Personally, I dig the gunmetal set. Next time, bring me back some blueberry Timbits!
Quality oil change!
Im team tp on the rims the kinda murdered out look is badass!
The gun metal gray wheels look best I think!
Love the headlights and new grill!!
Love the new look of the truck as I have the same colour and now can picture mine with those mods. As per choice of rims, gun metal all the way. Looks slick, sounds nice and mean now. Great job. Waiting to see new tail lights to complete the total change of truck. !!!
I'm with PT on the wheels!
Damn that thing is so sick looking!! Really nice work guys
gold every day of the week!
Darker wheels look so much better
Love the gold wheels
Absolutely love this series! Can’t wait for what’s next
That oil bit was hilarious
Power, suspension, wheels...i wonder how the stopping power is for you guys🤔. I never liked the OEM stopping power on my 2016 TRD sport so i opted for some aftermarket rotors and braided lines.
Clean setup is enough
Wow truck looks awesome. Great job 👏 i will Vote for Gold rims. I hope i can ever afford to get the same look to my tacoma. It will be a dream come true.
love all your content both the slow builds and the quick builds :)
C4 front bumper will look sexy on that truck
Gold six spoke! Team DP.
I know this is a daily and all, but would be fun to see you do a bit more ''pimpi'n'' of this, some interior, light bar or something :P
Definitely like the gunmetal wheels more
What are you planning for center caps? That's the one thing missing for my eyes.
Rays on a truck? I have never seen that. Very cool! The gold is amazing!
Tim Horton's is really on it's last leg... I think I like the black wheels more but the truck looks great either way.
Gun metal gray is a better fit but it's your truck and your choice. I also wonder if the OEM rims would fit my 07 Tacoma as I'm looking at upgrading my rims as the silver is peeling after 15 years.
I think a darker bronze would’ve looked better but still badass
Awesome build! Let’s see some new Bronco content next 😉
I love all the builds! Wish I could do any of them too.
I love that I can slap a blower on my 97 5vz
