Actress Jane Badler from the cult classic series, V, will join me in The Locher Room on Friday, October 20th at 3p.m. EDT / 12 p.m. PDT to tell us about lending her vocals to the new single, Tears of Faith from the Australian electronic pop band, Parralox, fronted by John von Ahlen.
The song is a down-tempo electronic dance arrangement about broken relationships and the hope for reconciliation. Its accompanying visual is directed by Leanne Hanley.
von Ahlen plays the role of a mad professor, intent on creating his perfect soul mate. Through the power of computers, A.I. and a little bit of magic, he manages to transmute a blank slate into the perfect female creation, played by Jane. The “Tears of Faith” video is about love, loneliness, and hubris; it touches on the superficial and the spiritual.
Jane appeared regularly on American television from 1976-1989. Along with V, she starred in One Life to Live (Melinda Cramer) and Fantasy Island. She also played the seductive snatcher of Alec Baldwin’s baby in The Doctors (Natalie Bell) and caused a stir opposite Kim Novak in Falcon’s Crest. In 2010, Jane returned to V in the re-imagining of the series.

Great interview!! The Doctors was the first show I remember seeing Jane Badler on. Loved her as Natalie!!
Claire Malis was the first Dorian that Jane worked with (Nancy Pinkerton left a year before)and then she was still there when Robin Strasser came on. Kim Zimmer was still on The Doctors when Jane joined as Natalie in July 1981.

I was a big fan of OLTL when Jane Badler played Melinda Cramerand and I always thought she played Melinda the best and was disappointed when she didn't come back to play her again. But then I watched All of V when she was on it and really enjoyed that SiFi show.

Had no idea Jane played Melinda on oltl. Not sure if she was the original Melinda or not
As for the dorians.
I know Robin strasser was the third Dorian claire mallis played her and Nancy Pinkerton before Robin took over the part.
But Robin stressor was the original Rachel Davis later cory and when Robin played that charecter they had another actress take over the part while Robin was on maternity leave which did not go well.
So Robin returned until Vicky Wyndham was found.
Also later on oltl from 1992 or 1993 had elaine princi played the part until Robin came back again.
As for Jane badler I will have to for one of my next soap binges start looking at the doctors.
I know Doug Marlands first headwriting stint was at the doctors from 1975 to 1978.
When he was lured to gh and saved the show.
But we know how that ended up after Gloria Monty wanted to cross him by pairing Luke and Laura together after he clearly wrote it as a rape which is something with today's me too movement is finnaly getting recognized for what it was.
Anyway I will see if on RUclips if I can sample Jane's music with that Australian band but I am super picky when it comes to music.

Patricia Pearcy was the original Melinda Cramer. Jane came on in late 1977.

I remember Sharon gabet I think which was the 1988 period as I first watched oltl in late 1987 early 1988 during the Paul Rauch years.
I remember the fake Bo Patrick London plastic surgery to look like Bo storyline and didi getting electrocuted by Patrick London.
And the cord Tina stuff.
Amonst many. Including eternia.
