  • Performing the 500 hour service on the Takeuchi TL250 track loader.The 500 hour service consist of changing the engine oil and filter, fuel filter, pilot line filter, hydraulic tank filter, outer air filter and the gear oil in the planterys. I don't go over all the steps because I showed the oil and air filter change in my last service video, I just highlight the the other parts of the 500 hr service. I also install new cab cylinders and door cylinders. Will have a separate video on the pins and bushings in the arms. As always thanks for watching! If you like what you see please comment, like and subscribe! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi

    Nice job on the maintenance Brandon!! Maintenance is cheap but repairs are expensive. I always have a few different sizes of empty jugs laying around to use as funnels and oil diversions. If I need the same one twice I’ll make one up out of aluminum siding then mark the use on it. The aluminum holds up much better to heat than plastic. Maybe one of these days I can give you a hand doing a PM

      Bart Ferreira it’s 10w30 engine oil is what the loaders call for. The excavator takes AW46 hydraulic fluid. Not really sure why the loaders take the 10w30 but that’s what the book calls for. You’ll love that 130 their a beast. Appreciate you watching!

    • @eliteearthworksllc
      @eliteearthworksllc  5 лет назад

      Bart Ferreira just regular 10w30. Nothing I can really think of, just check for any play in the pins and bushings on the arms. And check the sprockets for wear. These machine are extremely reliable and tough. Mine just rolled over 6700 hours and it’s still going strong. I’m working on getting more shirts made. Brandon great video. I’m looking to get a Takeuchi track loader. Have you had good luck with the reliability of the machine? Like you, I’ve always had to do my own mechanic work. Would you be afraid of a little bit older machine ? When would the hours start to be to much in your experience on a decently maintained machine? Thanks.

    • @eliteearthworksllc
      @eliteearthworksllc  3 года назад

      Thank you! This machine has 8700 hours on it now I bought it in 2012 with 900 hours. It’s still running strong. I guess 5K-6k hours would be kind of high if you don’t know how the machine was cared for. I haven’t had any major issues with mine. Just normal wear and tear stuff but I have taken great care of it too. These machines are fantastic and will run forever
