I typically don't really like very noisy repetitive songs, but for some reason I love this one. Something about it just seems to be deeper or the angst in comes off as more genuine to me than in other similar songs. Usually I'd say the lyrics are vague and basic, but I like how sarcastic it seems. You get the full picture with just the instrumental, so "What else can I say?" is pretty apt. If it was easy to pin the song to a specific thing like a breakup, abuse, or loss of a loved one it would probably much more easily come off as disingenuous or sappy. Pretty much everyone I share it to hates it though and thinks it's just noise so I don't know. I think it's a fantastic song, but most people seem to hate it, especially in the Rock Band community.
it just drags on too long; if it was like 5 minutes long instead of 6 and a half it would be better in my opinion, since a minute and a half of the song is just repeating the minute and a half directly before it

I hated this song for sooooo long I never actually played on drums because my orginal RB1 (yeah, that one, vanilla and lots of repairs) broke and had to say goodbye to it when RB4 hit my Xbox. Tried playing it on guitar and it was boring as hell. Now that I was able to get a Nitro Mesh, Clone Hero and my PC (I'm from Mexico so getting the PDP wired adapter and MIDI Pro Adapter are the equivalent of getting to shake hands with Jesus Christ himself) and said "Why not?" ... Two weeks later and I still have sore arms after playing it and am absolutely infatuated with the energy and angriness this song exudes on the drums. Not only I'm taking this as a challenge, it really feels like it's a genuine rehearsal of sorts; something as crude as chimpanzees or cavemen hitting some containers with a club, and as such, I transform into one to give that drumset hell... and it works wonders! It might drag a little as some comments say but that's way more attractive to me than a 2 and a half thrash metal song (I'm looking at you, Altar of Sacrifice) which are masterpieces but are way too short. And yes, everyone who I share this to also hate the song until I tell them to play it on Guitar or Bass as it's the hardest Rock Band 4 song on drums and wanna play along with them lol
ya know, the ridiculously sad thing is that after all the wicked accurate charting that is the majority of this chart, making you land every single ghost snare throughout the song, there's a TON of ghost snare that's just completely absent in the outro. Dangit, Harmonix.
