Hi, as you can see in the video, the process is more trial and error and will differ as screens begin to get denser and aspect ratios move away from the traditional 16:9. You could slow down the video and try to replicate the steps "for this particular tablet". But in reality it matters less, as your brain intuitively learns to compensate for the error, with practice.
The gloves are for for reducing the friction as you move your drawing hand on the drawing surface and since this isn't a pen+touch surface there's no need for palm rejection tech. No accidental touches with this one.
