Freedom of speech, expression, ideology, religion, etc. are few of the most important fundamental freedoms for every human. I mean all humans should be 100% free to do whatever they want and it is the responsibility of the parents to raise children such that they enjoy 100% freedom without hurting any form of life in any way for cheap and selfish sensory pleasures. This should never be enforced, but should be born from within each individual so that individual karma is never compromised.

Islam is still spreading although its reputation is not good but many people accepting Islam, yes many are leaving as well. I would suggest to read history especially indonesian history where Islam was spread without invasion. Yes in some part of the world where invasion played a big role.
Coming to your last point, the famous saying of Maula Ali (companion of Hazrat Muahammad pbuh) that a nation can survive without religion but cannot with out justice.
So religion has nothing to do with prosperity of country, only rule of law can give assurance, the problem muslin countries is they are mostly rules by corrupt elites just like Pakistan is ruled by establishment which are not willing to follow constitution and not giving individual right to vote.
Even Pakistan would be athiest country with this political system could not survive.
I give you an example, north Korea an athiest country ruled by one leader. No rule of law no individual freedom, South Sudan a Cristian country but have corrupt politicians.
Many muslim democratic where rule of law and individual freedom exist are doing good job these are Malaysia, Indonesia, azerbaijan and maldives.
So the problem is not religion, the only solution that ensures prosperity is strong political system which has smooth transfer of power, ruled by law, give individual freedom and free or atleast have very low corruption can thrive toward development.
I respect and encourage any Muslim woman who refuses to be treated as less by the “ *religious authorities* ” in their society, as well as the men who support and protect them from such tyranny. 🙏

Hijab is ancient Arab culture, Islam has nothing to do with it. Even Hadith has a different reason for endorsing the use of Hijab in ancient Arabia when slaves were a thing. It was used merely as a classification for women (including Azwaj-e-mutah'harat) who were not for sale as slaves. But those slaves and concubines do not exist in this era. So it is irrelevant to use it now, but then again nobody should be forced to wear it or not wear it. It's just a part of modesty like any other clothing. But contrary to the common believe, women who do not wear hijab are considered to be less religious having a 'weaker belief' in faith. Just like that, men not having facial hair are looked down on by others. This sort of gaslighting must also stop.

iranian women should have freedom of speech and freedom of expression, its a fundamental right to protest peacefully against unlawful policies of the iranian government.
These young brave women are leading the way forward out of the darkness of many centuries of being bullied and controlled by these ancient old laws that clearly belong where they were born in the past. Now the world has moved so far forward that people want to make their own choices of what they want to wear and how they want to live and it’s time these laws are relaxed and catch up with the 21st century, A Modern Era this is where we live now!!

Solidarity with the Iranian people especially the brave women protesting in the face of such tyranny and oppression! The Black Hijab is an Iranian construct that has nothing to do with Islam. The Prophet (PBUH) did not create this form of parda for women nor was a specific religious uniform stipulated by him. It was created by Ayatollah Khomeini who last time I checked was not a prophet of Allah (nauzubilah). For many years Islamic nations across the world resisted the black hijab just for this reason but eventually, everyone succumbed to the power of conformality. We should reject brutality, oppression, and jahiliyyah in all its forms. These mullahs need to be totally discredited as the destroyers of worlds. Totally agreed with you as I have many highly educated friends from Iran and all are hopeless because of worst current economic conditions of Iran. Youth of Iran is frustrated they get tired of so called revolution and unfortunately now they don’t believe in religion as well majority of youth follows no religion any more.
