PCQ: play a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow formation since the 5 at the back isn't working. You will still have defensive cover with Vinicius Souza as a CDM and will be a bit better going forward with the extra player in miedfild. This would mean you have to sign a box to box miedfilder

Another advice, consider changing your formation since 5 defenders haven’t been good enough, how about changing to a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 instead or even 4-1-2-1-2 (CM version)

I think signing Alexis Vega would be a good option as he is 79 and is LW maybe you can make him a striker for backup/main and he is a free agent and pretty sure you used him for Nottingham Forest series
You can also sign Jesus Duenas as a free agent he is a solid LWB 4* weak foot and is 31 having experience and can be a solid backup option. I know I have been typing a lot but I found a right back called Kevin Alvarez who is a free too. He is 24 and a solid option to have converting him to lwb/rwb would make him a beast
get an assistant coach like edgar or tyztir etc.... to help with managerial stuff and make the challenge more fun

My tip for you,switch to 4-3-1-2 with tiki taka tactics.Use macatte as CAM and give him freedom and sell one of your defender to sign another good defender like a veteran to boost your team, beleive me it will definitely blow your mind.

S2G. I think I know someone who can play as well as Davis and will be a good bench option in the future. I suggest the Pole Jakub Moder, a Brighton player. 74 ovr and 80 ovr potential makes it a really strong competitor and it costs €6.5 million, so trust me and sign him in January window PLEASE
And if you need really good Defender i recomend Maik Nawrocki.
Here's an advice since you are playing with a narrow formation try to change your tactics to forward runs so that ur fullbacks can make runs on the outside and your attack will be so lethal

In my opinion, you should sell some players and get an old player to lead the team like Dzeko or Corona so the team would have a good captain or you could make a strategy of counter attack.
Maybe a 2 DM formation can help in defense, your zone 14 is not that good defended
PCQ: As good as Trafford is, he's quite young and inexperienced for such an intensive relegation battle. Try signing a veteran/experienced goalkeeper who's probably nearing the end of his career. You can use the veteran for premier league fixtures and use Trafford for all Carabao Cup and FA Cup matches. This way Trafford would still gain experience and keep improving and won't have to deal with the pressure of the relegation battle.
