Great video as always. Just wondering what would be your personal choice plug-in Sorento or plug-in Skoda Kodiaq? I do a lot of long distant (100k +) as well as city driving. Thanks.
Both are good cars but depend on many factors… for long distances it is not really recommended an phev because you have to charge it often to be efficient… HEV will be better. Usually the plug-in hybrid it’s good if you have the possibility to charge it daily or every 23 days that will make sense because you’re driving the city go to work and home around 50 km daily but if you do long distance it makes no sense to drive with a plug-in hybrid because you have to drive it very often. I charge it very often And the problem is that if you don’t charge it, you will have a bigger consumption.
Great review as always Dan. One question - what would you choose between the Kia Sorento and the Skoda Kodiaq? I watched your reviews and they are quite positive for both cars. Don't you think the Skoda offers more for the same price, like adaptive suspension, matrix headlights, more modern interior, better infotainment, bigger boot - 910l for the 5 seater option. Also, it is a new model, compared to the Sorento, which is facelift and will become old when the new model comes. In Bulgaria the Sorento hybrid is 60k euro (full options) and the Kodiaq is 55k euro (full options). Let me know your opinion :)
Hard to say both are good cars … i think depend also on personal preference… Sorento have also Full hybrid Kodiaq not yet … depend what you need also and what you like … kia have longer warranty… is hard
Between the 2025 Sorento SX Prestige and the 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy, which one do you find more refined, quieter drive? Also, which one gives better fuel efficiency?
Having tested both cars which ones do you prefer the school Kodiaq or the Kia Sorrento? I know the different engines cannot be compared, but what about comfort, quality, look & feel etc? How do you feel about the Kia not having any Matrix lights? Thanks
The EU will just slap insane tariffs on Chinese cars, so that you either pay 70k for a shitty Kia or 80k for a shitty chinese car. Average people are stuck with small cars now
@@knusperhirsch7056 the Chinese have already factored in tariffs of 100% and will still profit I’m being serious the head of ford in the USA has just said this after coming back from a visit to china last week he was literally shocked with what he witnessed out there look it up And I think that’s the reason ford is investing 15 billion in new petrol engines and the Volkswagen group are investing I think it’s 22 billion in the same thing now. I think they know they’ve lost the EV market which they have and crazy as it sounds I think they are going to turn things on there head by switching back to combustion engines for the foreseeable future and probably the reason literally every leasing company is now pushing diesels again look at all the reviews on RUclips literally every review is now starting to talk up diesels lol you can’t make this shit up
