    Great video! Thank you for comparing the compression. Many creators talk about compression in psssing, but not everyone gives this perfect example. I love the 120 and 200mm looks.

    Awesome video. I loved how you demonstrated the different focal lengths. I also want to say I wish I had a model like Nora -- super cute. The pictures you took outside were great!

    Excellent video! I am fairly new to off-camera flash photography and a family member wanted me to take Christmas photos for them this year. This video helped a lot and I appreciate the tip on spot metering. Thanks!

    This is a really great tutorial. Believe it or not, there are NOT a lot of this specific video ! P.S. I gotta say it, you remind me a lot of Halsey ( the singer ) many of your facial features are the same ! 5 seconds in, and it hit me.... you look like Halsey ! 🙂 ( I bet I'm not the first person to tell you that ) - I started searching on how to take a photo of somebody in front of a Christmas tree, didn't find much of anything and boom, found your video ! Anyway thanks very much for making it ! You just helped me out today ! 🙂👍

    Nice info. Nora was just perfect outside. One of the most important parts of any people portrait is expression. Happy would have added to the first section.

    So I"m back, watched til the end, and yeah an awesome video ! Doing the outside portraits was a real bonus for me ! oh and who knew that a snow machine even existed LOL. Really great video ! this should have 100K views. It's sad that people make a choice on watching or not watching a video based on views. Some of the best videos out there are hidden gems with few views. Thanks again for this great tutorial ! 🙂👍 and yuppers, you still remind me of Halsey LOL

    How do you prevent blur when she is moving and your settings are set to allow some ambient as well?

    • @bobwalden1575
      @bobwalden1575 2 года назад +1

      The flash should handle most of the blur.

    • @photographyfortherestofus8121
      @photographyfortherestofus8121  2 года назад

      The flash is really what exposes the subject, so blur shouldn't be much of an issue with this technique.

    Very nice and informative. The background music was a little strong, but with happy vibes which is good. You do talk about many more subjects besides the subject you mention in the title, which might confuse some people. Overall job well done.
