I remember being in the car with my father and a radio edit of this mix came on. He was so upset they had turned it into a dance song, but I secretly loved it and spent years seeking this mix out.
This was played at Mardi Gras Sydney at the Hordern Pavilion in the early 2000's and was the lead in song to the big 2am show - I do not think I have experienced a dance party moment as euphoric as this - multiple mirror balls, laser lights and glitter paper storms filling the cavernous space - nothing will come near that moment. Thank you Hex and Faith
I too danced at Hordern one time and remember being mesmerised by a huge ball slowly descending, then opening up, then closing and slowly ascending towards the ceiling. Absolutely amazing music playing.
This takes me back in time, ahh to be young again, and actually feel good, before COVID and the madness that has followed, we were taking it to the dance floor #Kazaa #00sMusic #DanceMusic
I wish they would put out club mixes like they use too, 9min long or like Faith Hill Breathe Over 10mins long, as a DJ i prefer the long mixes the best
@@Hopeful_Libertarian Ya know I would like to believe that. It was the biggest song of 2000. Do you know where it peaked on the Billboard Dance Clubs Chart ? I cant find the peak or even an entry for her on the Dance Songs chart history !
I’ve danced to this INCREDIBLE mix in Detroit, Atlanta, Palm Springs, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, and now, my own living room. (And jeez, I’m really out of shape! Not to be dark, but” thanks” Covid for 16 months without a gym. And, yes, for 4 million gone worldwide, whose families wish they were half as lucky as I’ve been to complain about being “out of shape” or anything else now.)
i remember the first time i heard this in San Francisco , so subtle in the start and the background percussion over the speakers sound so mysterious and sexy over the dance floor, its a great ice breaker club song because everyone knows it and then taking it to another level on the dancefloor, it's magic. Hex Hector knew what he was doing with his style because all the guys just would usually start taking their shirts off to this type of music, very sexy.
God I used to burn this up on the dance floor..massive feel good track!!!! What I wouldn't give to go back to the times when music was like this at the clubs!!!!
Oh....that build-up through the intro took me back to dark dance floors at the beginning of this century. Between Hex Hector and Thunderpuss there were so many incredible club anthems during that period of time. These days many people find the anthem quality of somgs like this a bit over the top but I couldn't disagree more. We need more music like this again.
@@ernestorosete8565 Wow... have you been on a week long meth bender? You seem very aggressive for no good reason and you have obviously lost what little grasp you did have of the English language. Or maybe I just need to dumb it down more for you to understand. Go try trolling under another bridge. You have already made a big enough fool of yourself here .
God this takes me back to my younger days! I use to Dance (between drinks) to this kind of music till 4 am at "The Connection Complex" in Louisville, KY...sadly it is gone now...but I cut my teeth on this stuff....GOD I MISS IT!
I agree Johnny conn if you want to hear this kind music you have to go to Australia London Europe to hear ultra festival Miami kill dance music having those playing hip hop song
I had a copy of this burned onto a CD. I have never seen a vinyl copy of it and I was a Billboard reporting disk jockey for over 10 years. What is the PRO-A Warner Bros. catalog number? Would LOVE to find a copy. They must be extremely rare....Thanks for sharing!
There is no friction that could ruin this track, or the even experience with the pretty girl on the cover. That is all I have to say about that. For now. Since now is when. I like now.

The build up!! Hex hector, David morales, and thunderpuss were remix gods!!

Ha, I remember those times. It was like anything with a bass drum was kryptonite to Boomers. Both versions are great.

How could I miss this?, lo descubrí esta noche, felicidades por esta pieza de arte Mr. d.j
I am blown away by this mix ,energy is definitely there with this one.

word
Had they actually released a "maxi-single" with this remix, Faith Hill would've reached #1 on the Hot 100 instead of stuck at #2 for 5 weeks.

Why isn't this masterpiece available as mp3 for purchase on all digital platforms? Wtf are they waiting for to release it?
Hill's label never gave the go ahead 20 years or so ago, much less now.

Modern "remixes" are such a joke compared to what we had between 98 and 2005 or so.
