If people are attracted to those that are very different it’s despite those differences not because of those differences. No two people are totally alike, we are all gonna have some differences. People do sometimes date those who are pretty different but those relationships typically don’t last long, those that do are those where the man and women are more than less the male and female version of each other when it comes to character, personality, humor, interests, values etc.. especially values. I used to be a piece of shit career criminal and coke addict and so naturally I dated women who were bad women, criminals and druggies themselves because those are the women that would have me, that’s the kind of women I went for because they were the female versions of myself. Now that I’m a totally different person who has turned my life around I no longer desire women like that, im repulsed by them as I’m repulsed by the person I used to be. The kind of women I date now are so different than the kind i used to. The kind of women I date now never would have dated the old version of me.
