What I wouldn't give to have this beautiful kit... Ugh. Dream kit right here lol it is literally the exact same set up as my drums except digital. Same amount of pieces to a T.
My Sweetwater “sales engineer” quoted me a VAD503 for $3690 - though it was part of a bundle (double kick, HH stand, snare stand, throne, etc) to get me started. VAD503 currently comes with a free 14” floor Tom for 1-up, 2-down configuration, leaving it one cymbal shy of the VAD506.
I'm still digging the DrumTec Pro better. Unfortunately, it's only made in Germany and has to be purchased from Germany. However, their drums work with almost every module from every brand. Roland is trying, but they're just not quite there.
Although electronic, the concept of the V-Drums Acoustic Design is to have a look and feel similar to acoustic drums. If a smaller, thinner kick pad is needed for practical reasons, the VAD306 model available. The KD-200 kick pad does have some pad noise when you play it, but it's not significantly louder than many other kick pads from Roland. Check this video for an example of pad noise from the larger (22") KD-220 pad ruclips.net/video/eCkoAslPYCI/видео.html
IT LOOKS GREAT!!! soundslikeabsoluteshit BUT LOOKS GREAT!!! Lol Seriously. Is the Roland employee in charge of the module sounds hard of hearing? Jesus. The sounds are so damn weird and shallow.
I love Roland

VAD 503 '''FOREVER...
were still looking for a snare throw off !!!!! whilst play live its been on Yamaha kits for 10yrs plus
$4599.00 USD is crazy. These are over priced. I know they are like PERFECTION but come on ROLAND this price is a bit much.

@@sundevil98 Hey, I know its been a year, but what did you say to get such a great deal? Especially for a bundle thats a great discount.
Love the accent. At @5:23 "You're physically moving Eh!" Where are the "i" and the "r"?
Waiting for different finishes ...
Be nice if they offered a 8'' tom with this kit.
How well does this kit handle a hard hitter? Can the mesh heads and/or sensors withstand it?
Roland Is The Bast. 👍👍👍👍
this could have and should have been brought out years ago
How dare they disappoint you.
I Love Roland. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
So other than the extra tom and crash symbol they are the same kit ?
yes
what is the minumum surface floor area need to accomodate the 503 kit? I have a 180x80 cm platform...
I would buy it but not sure if it can fit
It looks like the size of a five piece, or four if you get the 503.
I pre-ordered one and they said 3x3 or 4x4 perhaps

What would be the best amp / monitor for this kit?
Any monitor would work, especially on w with a large subwoofer
Roland PM 200 I d say.
Yamaha had DTXtreme with maple shells 8 10 12 back in the 90s. But good job Roland.
The only thing I really dislike is that the playing area of the bass drum pad is too small. It wouldn't fit my double axis pedals....
I love Roland but I hate that bass drum design.
日本も早く発売してくれ!
can you play the bells on the hh and crashes?
Thanks for the feedback!
I'm guessing if you could he would have mentioned it.
had the td 50 didnt like it ,i still love my td 30 more
ONLY ROLAND ❤️🥁
for that money any drumkit would be be perfect
Why is the bassdrum 16" deep? Seems unnecessary and space consuming. How quiet is that bassdrum in my living room?

Oh thought you were Steve-O
Have you observed that the know labels are wrong? lol

I agree I have Roland but use addictive drums to get realistic sounds; problem solved
