Thanks Tyler for these amazing basketball videos.. you are great at what you do! Big thanks. God bless all the ballers striving to be better on the courts and off! 🙏🙏
Just came across your channel I remember you playing at McQuaid (I'm Rochester NY native)good to see you still doing your thing and helping out the younger generation. Much respect to you.
I have done this drill when I first started playing ball and I am a LETHAL shooter... All Great shooters know one thing.... If I can FLICK my wrist NO MATTER WHAT...It has a chance
@Billy Bungwhole Well that may work for you but that’s pretty bad advice, so I think I’ll listen to the pro trainer that really knows what he’s talking about
Hello Tyler, For a 12 yr old should this work as well. Asking because I know must kids aren’t stronger enough yet to shoot normal way and do the push shot.
Awesome drills. But I have had trouble with my wrist hurting a lot after heavy reps of shooting. Any advice for why that may be happening or how to fix it?
Soften the strength you're using on your wrist. Had this same issue because of so many reps. Use rest days and go for quality reps instead of over doing it with quantity.
When I shoot midrange and HS threes, I release high (like you do). However, when I shoot college threes and beyond, I have a tendency to release slightly forward instead of straight up. Is this a problem? Thanks for any advice / feedback you have.
@@TylerRelphBasketball Thanks, coach. You have serious game. Love watching you hoop on them young boys! Thanks for your content and stay healthy during these uncertain times.
its because college threes is further away from HS threes so your mind will have the tendency to find ways to adapt to the changes if you get what i am trying to say 😂 basically just shoot like you always does in HS but use more strength in it
Man I'd love for a 1v1 between you and Grayson (The Professor).. You guys both are great at dribbles, handles and shooting and I think it would be a good matchup. Keep up the great videos!
this is great but im always a little confused about shooting close to the rim as opposed to far from it. which should you change legs? dip ? speed of release? etc
This is the exact opposite of what I’d been practicing. Had been trying to consistently come out of a deep squat on balance for every FT 😂. Guess it’s time to stop that and strengthen my wrists instead.
Hey coach I am a left handed shooter and when I shot my hand can sometimes turn inwards, instead of it moving outwards to my left it moves in to my right and my arms kind of cross how can I keep my shooting arm straight, i have tried to release with a certain finger to but it has not helped
u gotta do a shit ton of slow reps w/ perfect form and gently increase the rep speed to break the habit my friend : ) (get the form down w/o the ball first then add the ball imho)
Don’t like first drill sitting on the chair. It puts a hitch in your shot. Watch first movement, it goes backward rather than up to the basket. Not something young players should use. Don’t care for other drills either. No disrespect. I would recommend to anyone trying to teach or dial in your shot to watch and practice from Dave Hopla’s videos.
Good video like it make the more video like this and we will train from you and I have also sub scribe your channel and also like it and enjoy and like this you will come in the1millon sub or you will come in100millon subscribers and good bye or allah hafaiz

limit movement, that a new concept to me , great one Coach Tyler!
One of the best shooting videos I've seen on the internet. Clear, concise, perfect form.
love how the chair helps to sequence the hip extension followed by a powerful wrist snap
Just got chills needed you when I was in college.

True!
yesss i say the exact same thinggg
Good
You’re limiting your range.
Momentum from arm extension will greatly increase your range if you learn to manipulate extension speed and angles.
@Billy Bungwhole Well that may work for you but that’s pretty bad advice, so I think I’ll listen to the pro trainer that really knows what he’s talking about
Always love your drills and workout huge fan sir,I would love to work with you one on one . Some day
Thanks for the tips coach, help me a lot🧠🏀
Im confuse sometimes. Rather than my shooting is sometimes arc shot or straight shot. What is the best shooting?
Wonderful demonstration. Perfect instructions. Thanks. I was a good shooter. Played against The Stith brothers a
half a century ago.
Great shooting coach right here!
Hey people say I’m lurpe or uncoordinated do you know anything I can do to fix that
Nice drills coach Tyler! Keep up the good stuff. Greetings from Bona bball alumni Pieter in Holland.
tyler as my kid ages, ur gonna be the only caoch on youtube i recommend.

No it’s not just continue to shoot up not out

@@Yoongaaa You're right, that's what I'm doing subconsciously. I should keep the high release and gather more strength from legs & hips.
It’s just strength like he said u are farther away , your strength will develop doing the 20flick wrist shots on the side
Excellent Drill,makes sense.
Your Awesome Tyler Relph!!!!

Hey, quick question how far away feet wise should you start at if you don't have lines on the court...
Closer the better and slowly work your way back ... i grew up with no lines and it ended up helping my range
Tyler Relph's Hoop Dynamic how many shots a day you would recommend for a good shooter to start over building this range and technique daily?
Thank you...

U needa have fluidity in your jumper which involves all
@@jaydentakungo ok can you be more specific though? like what changes so everything slows down a little bit?
He sounds like Maverick Carter! Love the vid. Great content!
Shoot a lot more than everyone else.
You're welcome
Excellent!!!
Tyler do you offer any personal youth training if so what is your location ?
Underrated
why is his feet not pointing towered the basket when he is shooting
His shoulders are still square with the basket

What are you focusing on when you are shooting??

Nice
The only problem with the chair is everyone isn't the same height. If I'm training a 8 year old, do I need a smaller chair.
Hey Tyler not sure if you'll see this... ik a lot people have different preferences, but what are you looking at when you're aiming your shot?
Try looking at the center of the hoop, really worked for me
I look at the back of the rim.
Curry looks at the hooks the net attaches to.
Interesting to see what TR does 🤔
@@willhooke he probably can shoot 3s blindfolded with both his hands tied behind his backs

Fix your base first , try messing with different turns with your feet to the right if youre left handed it auto aligns your shooting arm

well it's hard to have a chair in a court
