Deep Blue Legacy: Duke alum Joel Dunn MEM’04, MPP’05 reflects on his road to Duke

Joel Dunn MEM’04, MPP’05, president and CEO of Chesapeake Conservancy @ChesapeakeConservancy ), talks about the factors that led him to attending Duke for graduate studies, the resources at Duke that helped make this possible, and how all of these contributed to his formative work as a conservation leader.
“I’m really proud of the things we’ve been able to accomplish, and I’m really proud of the school,” Dunn said, speaking at the Deep Blue Legacy: Duke’s Impact on Oceans and Coastal Communities event held at the National Aquarium in September 2024.
