It certainly does!
6 months after we broadcast a mix of Alder, Aspen, Birch, Rowan and Willow seeds on the heathland above Roshven for Ed Townley, he was back up the mountain to see what was growing.
The results were WAY ABOVE expectations! Rather than the 1% germination rate we'd expected, it looks like it's anywhere between 6% & 10%.
Soon this dramatic landscape will be home will be home to a native mix of trees providing cover for wildlife and bringing back the diversity lost over the years.
