So now in order to criticize someone's performance I have to be able to perform better than them? Flip that over and think: does that mean that in order to praise a performance, I have to be able to perform better than them as well? Because if I can't perform better than them, then how would I know if it was a worthy performance? When you go to a restaurant and have a bad experience with the spaghetti, do you not criticize the chef? Or do you not because you're not a good chef?

I must be the only one who thinks both the music and the musicians are beautiful and don't need to be criticized or changed in any way.
Nope, you're not the only one. But you are one of the few. Which goes to prove that most people really can't handle beauty and talent in the same person. Their own insecurity will prevent them from actually appreciating what's in front of them, namely beauty in its purest form. I too have seen all sorts of crappy reasons to dislike her: from "her dress is too short", "her dress sparkles too much", "she wears high heels", to actually saying that she used some mysterious keynote or that it's wrong for her to improvise from time to time. :d So, I guess shame on her she's not perfect. Right? :D

Lovely to see such talent and beauty. A beautiful, piano master is allowed to exist (they don't all have to be angry old men) and the mastery of Hauser is wonderful to listen to. It's a joy, the example they set to young people, and the commitment they've put into their work for the rest of the world, who can't play an instrument (or can), to enjoy.
I just finished watching their Moonlight Sonata video. I read all the comments and was surprised at how many NASTY comments there were. Obviously these small-minded people don't know that Wikipedia has glowing articles about both [Lola Astanova] and [Stjepan Hauser]

I am safe. How about you, where are you living and how is the situation there? Are you able to make your music as it was? Exept for the concerts ofcourse, that is not possible at the moment I suppose. These are weird times, I really wonder what the future will be like.
