I miss the 80’s too! You could go to Tesco in a gold lame ra ra skirt, full evening makeup and huge crystal earrings and no one would bat an eyelid! 🤣 oh the good old days xx
Alexandra Hancock I know so sad! In the 80’s you wouldn’t set foot out of the door unless your super sized shoulder pads were straight and had a full face of make up on! We were all either Alexis Carrington or Crystal Carrington 😂 xx
My mom use to rent this for my sister and I when we were teenagers.they had it at our local library 1987 . This was our only makeup tutorial back then, 😂 Good times! 😁
Cucumber is good for your eyes too. They help reduce stress, and cools the skin. The cold ice water tightens and firms the skin, and the yogurt works as a peel. I learned how to do my makeup like that, in the 80s. I guess you just have to have lived in the 80s, to appreciate it
YEEESSS!, she totally slayed the eye look in the 80s...EVERYone tried to emulate her look. Love this video! And I read Stop the Insanity in the 90s, so would really like to see your reaction to Susan Powter's video.
I had that EYE video. It was just about how to make up your eyes. This video gave me a headache. 🥴😳😂It brought back a lot of memories of the time. I enjoyed your, Wayne, reaction more than the video. So far, Joan Collins is in first place. 👍🏻👍🏻
I missed this time. I was a teen of the 90s but my older sis definitely had the frosted blue liner, pink eyeshadow and frosted lip. Plus the poufy hair. Her husband always teases her if you look like that when I met you, I wouldn't have dated you. Lol. It's not that bad but whew, when the 90s rolled around, it was nice to say goodbye to that 😊
What about using a lighter to melt eyeliner. I never saw that until I was in my 30`s I was over a friends house she was getting ready to go out and she lit her eyeliner didn't even wait for it to cool down and she rubbed that sucker on her bottom waterline. I was like wtf?
I agree. I'm came of age in the 80's and she had the most beautiful eyes. I can't tell you how many hours I spent trying to duplicate make up I saw on magazines and on tv. Well, you probably did the same!
I had a good laugh during this. I was a teenger in the 1980s, and this brought back some memories. During that time, I wore a lot of purple eyeliner, and enough makeup for 6 people. And the really big feathered hair. LOL!
I totally love Donna Mills and Susan Power! When I was in my 20s I had bleach blonde hair just like Donna's! 🤣 I have baby blue eyes like her and my ex husband called me Ceegee from Knots Landing. Thank you for the stroll down memory lane! The 80s fvcking rock!!! Forever the 80s! It really was a a decade of decadence! Susan get me exercising so much back then. Love ya, Wayne!!!!❤❤❤❤
When I was a teenager watching all these glam soaps I thought I’m sure I’ll grow up to be the sort of woman who takes bubble baths and wears silk dressing gowns. It never happened 🤣
I am 65 attempting to still look 42 so I remember Donna Mills very well. Where did those decades go? We thought they would never end. I love your videos Wayne and you are one very gorgeous man!
well im 57 so for me, this was the way to go! electric blue eyeliner and mascara..huge hair..and satin jeans..donna mills is so beautiful..there was morgan fairchild as well..a similar look..i remember a freind and i going to some 'how to do your make up thing' ...god knows where, i dont remember...but i do remember we came home looking like a couple of ageing drag queens! i love the glamour of the 80's! This video has made me smile so much!
I just loved Donna Mills! She played a ruthless stylish beautiful woman on Knots Landing. My Mom and I looked forward to watching that every Thursday night. LOL. Good memories!!!
My mother used to do her eyes just like Donna Mills, whom we voth loved, and she looked gorgeous. I am 48. I am so happy to see you do this. I laughed out loud so many tines! Cheers from Argentina.
This and the Joan Collins reactions have been a GREAT way to spend my afternoon! Wayne- l actually had this (real) video and Joan’s book. For realz. I’m 61 years old and makeup has always been my jam! Donna Mills had the most gorgeous eyes on TV and we all wanted to be THAT girl. This was as good as it got at the time. RUclips makeup has been the absolute best part of lockdown. I still like to rock it!
Love the 80s. The clothes were fantastic!! The makeup easy. Of course, I was in my 20s, so at my best. Donna Mills was amazing! Just think sensual... 😉😉
Omg. That was hysterical! My mom used to watch Knotts Landing and Dynasty when I was a kid. Donna Mills’ eyeshadow is the reason I became obsessed with makeup! I’m in my 40’s too 😃
Omg!! YOU DID IT!!! I watched it a few years ago and did my eyes like she said, just with different colors. I swear I got so many compliments, and I was thinking I got this idea from an lates 80's/early 90's makeup tutorial.
Yes Donna Mills "The Eyes Have It" is the one we've been waiting for! She has the greatest eyes! We all did eye makeup like this in the 80's. Seems kinda over the top now but whatever..still love it! This makes me think of my mom 💖
🤣🤣LOVED!🤣🤣. I’m 47 and Donna Mills was the bomb! This made me laugh out loud! So awesome. And YES to Susan Powter!!! Her short platinum pixie and her raspy voice mesmerized me! So fun!
I had one of her vcr tapes in the 80’s. Learned how to do my eyes from her tape. Used to use Ultima II makeup. Miss that cosmetic line, they had beautiful colors. Love your channel, Wayne. You are a beautiful person. Tried your lipsticks and gloss. Terrific colors and feel great on.❤️
You crack me up. The best part of this video is your reactions. I lived the 80s and remember my most cherished item was my navy eye liner, and I remember girls using lighters to heat up their eye liners for easier application. Also you can't ignore the hair....whenever I felt my hair needed a perk I'd go get another out of the box home perm from the drugstore and fry away!!
I had this VHS back when it came out. I was a huge Knot's Landing fan and EVERYONE wanted Donna Mill's eye's. It's so ridiculous to watch it today. 🤣😅 I totally remember Susan Powter and her Stop the insanity infomercials.
I watched "Knots Landing" with my Mom as a kid (also 42) and I loved her. Always so glamorous! Also, one of my all time favorites will always be Susan Lucci!
This video was amazing hahaha. Loved Wayne's faces, he's so expressive! I would love to be there in the "uncut-unedit" version of this video with him. Gotta love Wayne
L😂L! I can't believe you found this! Watching it now is so funny. I took all to heart back in the day. She was such an icon of beauty in the 80s. I tried to emulate her style, too. 💋
Your facial expressions during the video were priceless! Love these reaction videos you’re doing and can’t wait to see the one on S.P. What an influence she had in the states back then! I would like to see you do a reaction video on the 90’s supermodels. Cindy, Naomi, Helena, Paulina, Linda, etc.
The cucumber? 😂 I was always a huge fan of Donna Mills. Loved her, I just thought she was absolutely stunning. I used to LOVE her eye makeup. Her and Joan's eye makeup were just stunning. Couldn't agree more.
This was an absolute delight. Please do more of them. The positivity here is infectious and just makes me feel so happy and giggly and makes makeup fun again.
Wow, funny to think how things have changed since the 80's. In the middle of the pandemic, I go days without makeup. I never would have done that in the 80's or even 6 months ago.
Ha ha ha! Oh the 80's were such a special time. i remember how many women tried to look like her. Thank you for doing this video. It put a smile on my face. Your reactions were priceless.
I love Donna Mills. She’s one of the most beautiful women in the world. I used to watch Knot’s Landing because of her. And yes! I remember Susan Powter. I read her book ‘Stop the insanity’ and it stayed with me too. I even remember Susan’s guest appearance on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air! Ah... the 90s 😂
I’ve seen videos from the 50’s where they tell you how to do your hair / makeup to find a husband and things like that haha would love to see your reaction to those 😂
I am really enjoying these videos of glamorous women of the 80's. I am 56 yrs old and sure remember these beautiful women that we admired for their beauty. Thanks so much for sharing these memorable women. It was such a different time then. Great stuff!
I swear, I was just thinking about Susan Powders a couple weeks ago! Her energy was totally infectious! She was like a soccer mom mixed w/a drill sergeant! 💖💋 "Friday Night Videos" anyone?☕ The 80's were everything, I was a child but the vibe of that age was fresh!
I LOVED Friday Night Videos! I used to beg to stay up and watch it (or sneak downstairs when my parents actually went to bed early) so I could tape some of the videos - especially Michael Jackson, Wham! and even a-ha! Course, there was also Video Hits which was on a lot earlier :)
This is so funny! I love the 80's and 90's makeup as well, and I hear these young RUclipsrs act like they know how we did makeup in the 90's. First of all, they weren't born yet or were just born. Half the things they are "teaching" we didn't do in the nineties, I was 17 in 95, I think I know how I did mine and others makeup in the 90's! Love ya Wayne you're a great person! This video and your reactions is classic!!
I come back to this for Wayne's reactions and imagining we're friends having a catch up session with wine and watching vintage/retro makeup tutorials---best entertainment for quarantine
I miss the 80’s too! You could go to Tesco in a gold lame ra ra skirt, full evening makeup and huge crystal earrings and no one would bat an eyelid! 🤣 oh the good old days xx
So TRUE 😍🥰
Lol! So true. I miss them, too. ❤️
I've seen people in my Tesco in their pyjamas on a regular basis.. oh how times have change 🤣
Alexandra Hancock I know so sad! In the 80’s you wouldn’t set foot out of the door unless your super sized shoulder pads were straight and had a full face of make up on! We were all either Alexis Carrington or Crystal Carrington 😂 xx
Wait, you're telling me you cannot do that today? Note to self😉
The look on Wayne’s face when she broke out that cucumber lol.
"K..." Best possible reaction!
🤭😂😂
I’m just glad she only put it on her face and didn’t make any innuendos
I was laughing already but when she bought the cucumber out I lost it 😂😂
🥒 😂
Your reactions are so hilarious. Please keep doing this series.
My mom use to rent this for my sister and I when we were teenagers.they had it at our local library 1987 . This was our only makeup tutorial back then, 😂 Good times! 😁
"You are going to the office, not a disco"
What if you office IS a disco? - Willam Belli.
Hahaha

I LOVE DISCO
I'm 49. I remember these kinds of videos. I was crying laughing along with you Wayne!
49 also, I loved this video!! The 80s were a special time, sometimes I wish I could go back.
Me too! Me too! 😭🤣
I laughed so hard at her rubbing the cucumber on her face 😂
Me too!!! LOL.
Me three, LOL
Cucumber is good for your eyes too. They help reduce stress, and cools the skin. The cold ice water tightens and firms the skin, and the yogurt works as a peel. I learned how to do my makeup like that, in the 80s. I guess you just have to have lived in the 80s, to appreciate it
Ashley Perez I love doing cucumber masks. It feels fantastic
I wasn't ready!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
YEEESSS!, she totally slayed the eye look in the 80s...EVERYone tried to emulate her look. Love this video! And I read Stop the Insanity in the 90s, so would really like to see your reaction to Susan Powter's video.
Kim Reed I read her book too
I remember wanting her look on Friday nights, she was the make-up goddess!
She was crazy but apparently she's not so nice. She was on Rupaul Dragrace and was very nasty to the queens.
Oh my gosh me too!
All I wanted was to have eyes like hers!
Haha that blue eyeliner and frosted pink lip was really a thing of THE 80s. What a time capsule
I had that EYE video. It was just about how to make up your eyes. This video gave me a headache. 🥴😳😂It brought back a lot of memories of the time. I enjoyed your, Wayne, reaction more than the video. So far, Joan Collins is in first place. 👍🏻👍🏻
DeathBeforeDecaf right!! I was cracking up so hard. My girls see my pictures of my teens and just lose it laughing at the blue eye shadow;)
I missed this time. I was a teen of the 90s but my older sis definitely had the frosted blue liner, pink eyeshadow and frosted lip. Plus the poufy hair. Her husband always teases her if you look like that when I met you, I wouldn't have dated you. Lol. It's not that bad but whew, when the 90s rolled around, it was nice to say goodbye to that 😊
I really enjoyed the John Collins video. So stunning!
DeathBeforeDecaf nowadays it's no makeup at all ,very boring....
ROFLMAO 😂 I lost it at “put a hot blow dryer on the tip, that will get them going.” Who ever did this mash up was brilliant, lol
What about using a lighter to melt eyeliner. I never saw that until I was in my 30`s I was over a friends house she was getting ready to go out and she lit her eyeliner didn't even wait for it to cool down and she rubbed that sucker on her bottom waterline. I was like wtf?
We did that in high school - we'd just find one of the girls who smoked and ask to borrow their lighter. Not classy, but it got the job done!
I used my curling iron to soften the tip of my eyeliner, and "get it going!" Then I wiped off the curling iron with tp.
I used to warm up My eyeliner with a lighter
I agree. I'm came of age in the 80's and she had the most beautiful eyes. I can't tell you how many hours I spent trying to duplicate make up I saw on magazines and on tv. Well, you probably did the same!
Yes i did the same thing.her eyes were so beautiful
I think she looked nicer in 70's she had the scraggy cut which was the rage then and she was so pretty in Play misty for me loved that film in 70s
ROFLMAO!! Oh gawd! I'm 60, have great memories of the '80's, but my lord, the makeup we wore!
🤭👍❤..So TRUE 👌😂😂..the hair, shoulder pads(?are they called that 🙈)+our makeup..
☺😂😂
Happy midsummer's day from Finland 🌞🙋♀️
I love the makeup
I was an 80’s young adult and her eye make up was everything
Wayne’s faces are hilarious and his laughter contagious hahaha
I had a good laugh during this. I was a teenger in the 1980s, and this brought back some memories. During that time, I wore a lot of purple eyeliner, and enough makeup for 6 people. And the really big feathered hair. LOL!

What should it be called? We say Dressing gown in England, I wouldn’t really know what else to call it 🤣
@@tallisinwonderland4724 In US, bathrobe.
