Before I knew who Jon was I used to see him at Chicks in Virginia Beach - he'd stroll in in flip flops, and just stare out into the bay at sunset - I'd sit there at the bar wondering if he was an operator. I assumed he was. This was summer of 2010. I got home from the NAVY in 2011 and watching the news saw his face on TV - my heart sank. I only had wished I'd had tried to talk to him. I'm at least glad I saw him alive and cherish that memory.
Thank you for sharing this special day with us. What a fine gentleman. I grieve with you in your loss. Ive viewed several other videos about Jon's military service and his death and have been very moved. I wish I could have met this fine man. We must all of us be ever mindful of the sacrifices made by all our men and women in uniform and never, never forget our fallen. They have bequeathed us a priceless legacy. One of freedom, purchased at the price of their blood, their futures, their lives. God rest and keep Jon and watch over his loved ones. With gratitude and deep respect. ❤🇺🇸❤🇺🇸❤
He was certainly a hero as were all his fellow Seal Team 6 members...I just find it odd this appears to be a celebration of his 38th birthday, though by all reports and even his headstone, he was 35.
That's very cool the deer in the background. I believe deer are very unique animals. I seem to see them the most when I'm worried about something and it's like a reminder that things will be alright.
Dont know if you got memo...but met people here from your hometown that were vacationing here in boca raton...had 3 minutes out jon tumilson shirt on...asked them in the elevator about it...they actually have one of Hawkeye's pups!💓💓💓
