If you're playing in a group would recommend using a "stack" callout to let allies know that you want them to stack so you can get a dash reset on them. I used to main Elluna and it was extremely useful being able to coordinate that with my team to setup low risk initiations with root while having another dash as backup to get out. If you call it enough they'll start to get used to helping you dash reset more often and it just makes a world of difference to have allies that are helping you get your resets. This same pattern makes bungee and lots of other powers S tier on her, she can fish with things super easily with dashing in and out with resets as long as your team is enabling the resets.. So definitely boss your teammates around when appropriate to get them to help setup your dash reset plays. They'll be should be happy to oblige if they see how effective it is.
6:59 also I feel like I should mention this but a lot of times it just really isn't worth it to give up the othwr level 3 buffs for the dash level 3 cooldown reduction. Yes your dash is EXTREMELY important but giving up the other level 3s for just a second of cooldown reductions is basically never worth doing. You don't always have to max your heal, but you should normally max your heal or root not dash as that small cdr ain't worth. The cdr does help with your ground dash a decent amount but the other level 3s imo just tend to provide more value.
I primarily play Elluna, thanks for this. I'm curious about the item choices. Power user I can understand wanting on most hunters depending on the run, though I usually go with turbo booster because of all the dashes. But I've also been building bubble blade for the shield, and your taking mindblade has me questioning that decision. Is the extra AP just more worth it? But if you're trying to maximize healing, that brings me to question 2: why not max q? I get how important the dashes are, but the difference between level 2 and 3 heal feels really big to me. Speaking of the heal, you mention the burst at the end, but I don't understand what's wrong with tossing it early. It's not like it doesn't burst or stops early if you throw it, right? My last question was going to be do you have any advice about dealing with overshooting with your air dash, since I will occasionally find myself trying to get out of a situation only to throw myself into another one because I couldn't stop on a ledge in time or because I fly past my goal into spikes or the like. The glider will stop the momentum, but ofc you don't want to be taking that out over gaps. I noticed you had it happen once or twice in here too though, so I'm guessing there's no secret trick.

Ik enough about elluna that most guides would be useless but I see a lot of ellunas not playing her too well or even knowing about her heal reset(which uses so much mana that it's absurd) I do want someone who actually knows how to play her really well to make a guide on her but I don't really see it happening as she is way less popular than zeph.

I don't think trying to genderize character usage first thing is a good thing. Even if you think it's valid, it doesn't have to be stated and the fact that 'girls use cuter characters' doesn't have to be reinforced by a large RUclipsr (which participates in furthering girls being gatekept from some videogame actions/playstyles). One of the friends I play with, she plays Elluna, Felix, and Ghost. Although, when I solo and tried every Hunter, I also ended up playing Elluna, Felix, and Ghost as well, since to me, their playstyles are more straightforward to play at first. Although in team, I play either Kingpin or Zeph. Not sure if it's gender related or not, but her reason for starting on Elluna was that the heal is way easier to land than Zeph's. My reason for Elluna was both her Dash and LMB range are quite long.

This may be factual, but that doesn't make it right. And if you acknowledge that it's not right, then instead of furthering these ideas then it becomes your role as a guiding figure (be it mentor, parent, or RUclipsr reaching thousands of people with everything you say) to reduce this divide in any way shape or form. If you're a parent, this might go by gifting your male child a toy cooking set and gifting your girl child a firefighter car, but if you're a RUclipsr this needs to be done otherwise. Now trying to reduce gender gaps isn't your role when you're making a video so of course this is all reading far into it, but for sure if you feel slightly concerned about these things then intentionally furthering these concepts isn't a good thing. They give a small amount of AP, I think 2, it's less than using them to upgrade an item still.
