I'm glad you reviewed this blush! We're all primed to be super excited for this launch and it's helpful to get a nuanced take from someone who will give the product the best possible chance, but also be transparent about what's working and what isn't. I have LOADS of texture now (honestly, probably time for me to see a derm for it) and it sounds like this blush would be a miss for me.

The blushes remind me on Mac‘s extra dimension blushes, but in an extended shade range. That’s honestly what I’ve wanted for years.

I got this straight away and was so pleasantly surprised. Less is definitely more and surprisingly I’ve been really enjoying it on light makeup days. It’s looks really fresh and youthful. I keep it on the higher points of the cheeks and bring it into the eye area. Very pretty. Nofoundation a touch of concealer where needed, curled lashes and mascara. I look fresh and youthful (I’m 42) it’s becoming a holy grail.
Btw I also like it topping the danessa myricks blush on heavier makeup days.
I already knew I was passing in the Rare Beauty and this confirms my suspicions. I came for the Fenty highlighter demo and I am not disappointed! I think I’ll have to grab one!

Oof! Your video may push me towards getting the rare beauty blush. So pretty! I like the fenty highlighter but I have too many so I’m trying not to purchase anymore
I tried the same shade you did in the Rare Beauty and I didn't love the tangerine shift, so I returned it. I wish i had tried one of the shades without such a strong shift (like the light warm pink)

It really is, isn't it? It's my new fave one and done. Yeah it's an easy skip on those blushes tbh but I hope she brings out matte ones. The Fenty highlighter really is beautiful 💗💗
I totally forgot to order the PM primer stick 😂 I left u a message about the Fenty highlight in ur shop Sephora cart and I'm going back for 1 I haven't stopped thinking about them. I really have no interest in the rare blushes. I rather try the Dior backstage glow blushes and I kinda want the new being released bronze glow and still need to pick up rosewood. Can't believe I haven't got it yet . I swatched the normal rosey glow pink last summer and I was so dark it didn't show up as anything but alittle glow.
Wow just the swatch of the new Fenty skin tone highlighter looks so pretty and when you applied it to your face it’s gorgeous Martina!! Yes 100% getting this highlighter! I think that is one of the prettiest highlighters that gives your skin the perfect lit from within!
I like a glowy blush and bronzer, not all the time but I do enjoy a glowy blush for sure. My friend and I went to get the shades we wanted from the new Rare Beauty Glowy blushes and she said the same thing as you. It definitely would have been so nice if they released a matte powder blush and the glowy blush at the same time. I’m still hoping that Rare Beauty will release powder blushes.
I was surprised that it didn’t enhance or exaggerate my texture very much. When I really pack it on of course more texture shows but the way I’ve been applying it it’s very minimal. I also found that when swatching the different shades some pack a bigger punch. I think they are great! My favorite shade is Joy out of the 3 I purchased.

Hey Martina!!! I knew you wouldn't like these Rare Beauty blushes as a blush, especially since you didn't care for the Valentino ones which are waaay less shimmery. They def are more of a blush topper unless you love a glowy blush. They are also more pigmented than they look when applies so a little goes a long way. I picked up the shades Cheer ( Selenas go to ) and Joy ( peachy). I really like them but I love them as a topper. The Fenty highlighter is sooooo pretty! I almost picked up Pretty Purlz in store, but I put it back. I'm thinking maybe I'll go back and get it 😂. I did pick up the TomFord Bronzer Contour finally!!!

The Rare beauty blushes are too shiny for my liking, but I do like the Fenty highlights. I actually used up two of the Killawatt ones, so I do like Fenty highlights in general so will try this new one next
I love the rms blushes but it seems to blur texture. I also use the Haus Labs highlighters as a blush often but they smooth things out.
Oh interesting. The RMS ones have coconut in them so I can't try em but I have always been interested in them 💗💗

I was hoping for more shades of the already existing highlighters. Since the shades match the liquid highlighters but there’s way more liquid shades. 🙃
How does the rare beauty new glowy blush compare to the shimmer/glowy blush in the cover fx blush duos?
I don’t get the hype around these blushes because I don’t think they look that nice 😵💫. I love Selena and her brand’s aesthetic, but nothing I’ve tried has worked out for me. I wish it did because it’s such a great price point!
Yeah, it’s beautiful, that’s true, but I won’t get it cuz I have texture on my skin. I’ll stick with the matte blushes with careful highlight placement
I bought the Rare Beauty blush and it was beautiful in theory...but not on my skin. Immediately returned it.
This blush is definitely not my jam, I can do slightly shimmery but this much pearl...no ma'am. I think the combo of the baked formula with this much pearl was a bad choice. The baked base is too lightweight and doesn't give enough body so the pearl completely takes over.
Glowy blush should NEVER be brought so far into the face. The rule of thumb is to not go past the outside of the iris or past the arch of the brow
