His story is even more he went from sitting in look up and a guard walked in to tell him he was going to be a father and when he asked is it a boy or girl they told him the gender and he said what's its name and they said I don't know and walked out😢 and he knew that the mother of this child was and it would end up in foster care so he changed his life so he would be there for his child he started rapping about using drugs and getting getting high and then changed once he got completely sober to writing music

Jelly is amazing, such a dope artist. I cry everytime I hear it because I was in a relationship with the girl of my dreams, she was amazing and the kind of girl that everyone says "oh my God, who is she", she had the heart to go with it and because of my demons I battle I subconsciously self-sabotaged it until it was over because I didn't feel like she should waste her time on me. Jelly has an amazing wife too, straight gorgeous too and I think he feels that way as well. A lost cause and because he loves her so much doesn't want her to waste her time on him. Yeah, this song gets me everytime but I love it. You should check out either "Jelly Roll - Fall in the fall" or "Jelly Roll - Bottle and Mary Jane". #SnMsquad

I can definitely relate to that song and that's why I love his music so much the losses I've dealt with in life drug addiction and suicide it's the story of my life and a very heartfelt song that hits home for me you should definitely check out "only " from him.
